Hi Joe, As I have mentioned before, dump the primaries, circle the wagons & select the team that can beat Trump. And, as I have mentioned before, my choice is Gavin Newsom for Pres & Gretchen Whitmer for V-P. Kamala Harris could not win in a vote for turd catcher. Jerry Baumchen PS) You're the guy who has consistently said that it is time for the Dems to quit being the good guys & go for the throat; or something to that effect. I agree. How do you get Harris to leave quietly?

Hi Joe, The DNC powers that be need to look Harris in the eye & tell her that this is what is going to happen. No further discussion. Same goes for any pledged delegates. No brokered convention, just tell people this is how it is going to be. Some would consider it a coup. Those people need to make a decision regarding if they want Trump in the WH or not. It is called taking charge of a problem & solving it. Jerry Baumchen

Timing is ASAP. There are plenty of better candidates. Last time around Biden was able to beat Trump. He is a very weak candidate himself. He barely managed to beat HRC. At this point anyone halfway decent will likely get a very grateful nation to finally have a real leader to vote for. You have nothing to fear but fear itself. Fear of Trump winning again was what got Biden nominated last time. No one really wanted him.

Harris will need to be brought on board and as we've seen separating power from selfishness is difficult. That said, if the DNC was in a Seal Team 6 mode maybe they could convince her to resign so Biden could appoint Newsom, if he's your choice. Then Biden resigns and Newsom chooses Harris as his running mate. Easy peasy and everyone keeps their fingers and toes.

It was actually made worse by the microphones being turned off. Biden telling Trump to just shup up man, was actually a good part of the previous debate. I saw a man who had obviously slowed down, but at least appeared to have a grasp on issues and willing to debate on issues. The other person just generally spewed nonsense.
