Now 20% of US dairy cows have it, raw milk from them has caused H5N1 infection in rodents, and a large percentage of dairy cats have tested positive. Two dairy workers have caught it so far, but fortunately it has not spread. If we are lucky, it will stop there - but it is a dangerous disease, and we should keep our guard up.
