dmathews1960 5 #1 Posted April 24 Hey riggers - especially old guys like me! I have a very nice Delta II Parawing that I want to put into a modern, airworthy, piggyback harness/container system. I'm only guessing that I should look for something that would hold a modern 280 sq ft main. As modern canopies might pack smaller, is this big enough? Since I'll probably be finding one online, I would like to have the container size nailed down before purchasing something. Can anyone confirm that 280 is correct, or what the correct size should be? I'm setting it up with a BOC. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
manchuso 3 #2 May 25 Delta II is a single keel...I've used a container for a 190 for mine but as long as you can, borrow a couple of demo containers and check how it fits. It's a fun canopy
riggerrob 615 #3 June 8 A container sized for a modern 280 may not be big enough. Back when I jumped a Delta II I borrowed an container big enough for a full-sized Para-Commander.
SCS422 25 #4 July 17 I jumped my Delta II in the same piggyback that I used for my PC but I can't remember if it was tight or loose.
