Nude Jumping

Is it still true  that no fatalities are reported of nude jumping?

Someone just asked me, and I want to be sure if what was reported awhile ago is still true.

Boy, that's an excellent question. Never heard of one, but given that it would only likely be reported in a social media era, who knows. And there's the whole world.

But definitely no one on any of the nude jumps I took part in (well, all 3-4 or whatever)

I heard of an incident a few years ago.  On a nude jump, jumper biffed the landing.  Ambulance showed up and EMT's had questions and were puzzled.  Jumper carted away to the hospital as a precaution.  No serious injures except embarrassment.  Made a great story.

So then we totally went in the wrong direction with AAD's and RSL's? Fortunately for me I'm still in the biz and can fix it now that I have data.

I was told that a picture of a 12-way made Skydiving, but no one has ever actually seen it in there. Taken from above, so not much but ass cheeks, backpacks, and one dangling dick are visible

No injury but a young lady here did a nude two way late last summer and they miss-spotted. She landed in a field of nearly mature Canola (rapeseed) and had to walk about a 1/4 out through it. It was unpleasant for her.

If you have any studs in your more sensitive areas (Prince Albert etc), consider removing them for a nudie jump. In freefall, the thermally conductive stud metal quickly drops to the ambient air temperature and then, apparently, it feels like your ol' fella is being burned from the inside I haven't experienced it personally but the memories of the unfortunate bloke who discovered this, dancing around the landing area trying to get some relief still makes me smile

Not that I've heard of.  Some incidents of the sort you'd expect, but nothing deadly.

I have that pic.  it is an 11 man with one person about to break wrists and three more on approach.  Actually 4 danglers.

Not sure about that. My memory is that it was complete. I was at about 5:00. This was the old Spaceland

I can see it plain as day, he may have broke wrists after the pic but as i have it it is an 11 man.

When taking nude tandems, I always put the harness on them, then a big tshirt over it.

Take off the shirt when attaching student to me, and returning the shirt to them upon landing.

The 3 strippers I took declined the offer, they clearly had zero fucks to give about being nekkid in public.

Yeah, that was a pic I made that was in the July 1980 issue of Skydiving. It was a 12-way in Spaceland, TX with 10 guys and two chicks.  The one that didn't make that issue was when I flew beneath it and shot up from below.  It's a lot more interesting than the one that made from above.

Hi folks,

Here in the Portland area, we are experiencing record hot temps.  It might even be too hot to jump nude.

However, here is one alternative:  ‘Naked Goddess Swim’ brings skinny dipping to the waters of the Willamette River - oregonlive.com
