Yes, the DiverDriver.com website is off the air. I'm not sure when / if it will come back. Not exactly the way I wanted it to go but I had to prioritize my bills. It was not high enough.

I want to apologize to those who have used it as a resource and to those who helped me keep it going over the years. I have not updated it in many years and had major problems running the forum side of it. I was tired of the constant porn spam attacks. I have, however, continued to give input to USPA about jump plane accidents and my thoughts for the future though. USPA has adopted my jump pilot training syllabus into their documents and that is most gratifying.

If I have disappointed anyone I am truly sorry.

I've got a site that I'd be more than willing to host your files on for free. Just send me a drive (cd or whatnot) with them and I'll put them up. May not be able to use your DNS on them, but we could make due.

Chris,

Thanks for all you have done to promote jump plane safety.

I have lost several friends in jump plane accidents over the years and I know it's not easy to change the culture without ruffling some feathers.

Your efforts are appreciated.

Thanks Chris.

You've been instrumental in helping with accidents over the years and educating quite a few jump pilots.

Thanks. I was able to read the old posts for 5 days before it went dark and it was very useful.

I hope the old information does indeed move here somehow... or at least maybe a new forum is opened here for the same stuff and with time (and pain) gets filled with useful information as well.

Just noticed that the www.diverdriver.com site has been placed back online.

DiverDriver.com jump pilot training.

For those that don't know I've put my website back online. There is a rewrite/redo of the website underway. There apparently is very much a need for it.

As was brought up in the other devolved thread the Ag pilots have their own program. The glider pilots have minimal yet important requirements in the FARs to be signed off. Doing something similar for jump pilots does not have to be intrusive. It would give a newby DiverDriver some way of gauging if his training is adequate. Those who don't know can't check if they are being left to twist in the wind.

DiverDriver.com has a training syllabus and written test FREE. Copy it. Use it. Add to it for your operation. This syllabus and written was copied with permission into the USPA manuals. The NTSB liked it rather much.

Let's begin again. And keep the Nazi talk out of this. Be a part of the solution or get out of the way.

I'm glad to see it back!

Why dont we find out what his hosting costs a year and start putting donations. I bet $1 per person would keep this very valuable resource alive

Hell, I offered to host it! :)

Just restarted flight training... I'd help pay to host it ;)

Thanks guys for the support. The hosting has been arranged again. The old site is up while I work on redoing the site and updating accident files. I hope you like the new site once released. Hopefully more functional than, eh hem... other recently released websites. ;)

Once up and running there will be a link added for donations.
