pablo418 0 #1 November 22, 2013 Hello All, Their is a war being fought in Boulder County. A group named "Citizens for Quiet Skies" is out to close all of our local drop zones due to the noise the skydive planes make. So far the group has managed to temporarily shut down the drop zone Independent Skydive in Boulder, CO, and in the process of suing Mile-Hi Skydiving in Longmont, CO. These drop zones are 10 miles apart. We ask that you join our group to show your support for our skydiving community. Those involved in aviation know that we are a family. Please help support us. Thanks, we are: Citizens Against Citizens for Quiet Skies
skybum1 0 #2 November 22, 2013 They must not have any semitrailers driving thru the area neither. People like this wouldn't know a quiet sky if it bit them in the ass. You may need to give out some discounted tandems. It may be enough to convince the right people that CQS has misguided intentions. Can anyone say if this has worked in the past?"Remember to be nice to people on your way up cause you meet them on your way down." Jimmy D.
