Wind direction during deployment

Here's my donut (from yesterday)

Couple of times I've jumped in ~10m/s (20kts) ground wind, up to a deployment altitude.

I believe that deployment direction matters in this case

You believe in a fantasy.

So do theists, yet they still manage to get their pants on. Life is filled with wiggle room.

For those believing the wind direction affects deployment - I guess you also believe that if you are flying along in an aircraft, say a twin otter, with the door closed, and your reserve is pulled, that if you are facing forward your pilot chute will go further, and if you are facing aft your pilot chute won't go so far?

This thread is promulgating an "urban legend" belief mentality
I guess those who still want to believe in this will always do so. It doesn't make it true.
