Your instructors are a wealth of knowledge and that should be used to your maximum advantage. Internet advice is free, and sometimes you get what you pay for.You are not the contents of your wallet. wmw999 2,121 #4 February 2, 2014 It's a new sport for you, with very challenging circumstances. You survived, and you obviously did the canopy control and landing OK. Go on to the next jump -- obviously your instructors don't think you're really bad, because if they did, they'd suggest this wasn't the sport for you. Instead, they gave you information to try to improve your performance -- that means they think you're going to do it. NO ONE is perfect all the time; that goes for skydiving, too. skyjumpenfool 2 #7 February 2, 2014 Altitude awareness is something we all need to work on, on every single jump we make. Sounds like you've learned a very valuable lesson. Good luck on your next jump. Birdshit & Fools Productions "Son, only two things fall from the sky."
