Setting audible altitudes

Recommended Posts

(1st Pay attention and track off)
(2nd dump)
(3rd reserve)

These are "act now" settings. That means I want to be turning to track when the 1st alarm goes off. I want to hear the second alarm during deployment. NOT Before. I want altitude awareness, not rely on the Protrack. I should consider having my 3rd alarm higher as the only one I'd treat as a heads up rather than act now type though. If I dump after hearing the 2nd alarm, I almost always hear the 3rd one at end of deployment - but the 3rd always goes off high anyway according to the protrack log.

RW
3500,2500,1500

FF and some coaching
4500,2500,1500

other setting (following tandems, coaching)
5000,3000,2000

never really use the 3rd one

Hard deck at 2 grand, I figure if I'm still in freefall below 2 grand I want it brought to my attention before I'm any lower. My pull tone is set for 3 grand and usually goes off as I'm clearing myself and waving off. I set my breakoff tone for whatever we're doing on a given dive, usually 4 or 4.5 grand, sometimes 5 grand.
