And if Rittenhouse hadn't decided to travel there for the sole purpose of playing Rambo, it wouldn't have happened either. He went looking for this. You applaud him for bagging some bad guys, others struggle with the fact he specifically went looking for trouble.

No riot, no Rittenhouse, no shooting, no harm.

You seem to have a problem with Rittenhouse yet you are strangely silent when it comes to Gaige Grosskreutz, who travelled from out of town and was obviously looking for trouble (which he subsequently found).  Good rule of thumb, don’t riot and if you do don’t attack someone with an AR15.

And in good news; the Illinois House has passed a bill that will deny state funds to any library system in the state that bans books.  I expect the state Senate and governor will go along.

Wisconsin votes around 50/50 red and blue. It has a Dem governor. It has one Rep US Senator and one Dem US Senator. Due to extreme Republican Gerrymandering it has six Rep US Congressmen vs two Dem Congressmen and a near two thirds Rep majority in both houses of the State legislature. If the Reps pick up one State Senate seat they’ll simply be able to impeach and remove the new Justice. 
 

If that doesn’t happen and the new court orders an independent redistricting panel across the state, just wait for the Republicans to bitch and whine about how unfair and underhand it is for the Democrats to change the balance of power.
