Slim King 31 #1 Posted January 4 (edited) If you were to melt the entire north pole's arctic ice (Let's say over a years period or so), the sea levels would all remain exactly the same. (And we'd have a Northwest passage!!!) Follow the Science!!!! Edited January 4 by Slim King
kallend 1,252 #2 January 4 (edited) The troll king is on my ignore list, but just looking at the thread title I am amazed he has taken so long to come up with this, when the topic of melting sea ice has been discussed probably a dozen times or more in this forum. It's not exactly a novel discovery. The Greenland and Antarctic ice caps, OTOH........ Edited January 4 by kallend

Given the average temperature of Antarctic is around -50c, I don’t think there is much of a threat there

The melting of the entire north polar cap would not raise the sea level a single centimeter? If that is the case why all the disinformation about the rising sea level, since it has nothing to do with the ice cap and isn't happening at abnormal levels? If I'm on your ignore list why would you even answer? LOL

You could say the same for YouTube or any of them. It's just an informational tool. I'll bet you use WIKI and it's the biggest source of misinformation on the planet...right? The Gateway Pundit, Zero Hedge, The Epoch Times, Breitbart, and several others have all been around for about 20 years or so. I like them. I do watch a series of Drs. on YouTube to escape the big lies. I'm not a mechanic but YouTube showed me how to fix my car. I hope Elon Musk buys YouTube and exposes their corruption as he did Twitter.

Kallend said that Greenland is warming faster than previously thought, and that is a fact. From the abstract: "The warming in the recent reconstructed decade exceeds the range of the pre-industrial temperature variability in the past millennium with virtual certainty (P < 0.001) and is on average 1.5 ± 0.4 degrees Celsius (1 standard error) warmer than the twentieth century." Quote This is an inconclusive study paid for by ??????? You guessed it. No need to guess. It's right there in the author's bios. Funny how you claim to know what the article said, but can't even find the place the authors work.
