Be clear it would be made public if he welshed. Lot's of way's to make that not a threat but a promise.

You miss the point entirely by being small picture. 1. If McCarthy accepts D votes to be Speaker it's not the Lib's getting owned, it's McCarthy getting owned. 2. If he does accept it will show that he's nothing less than a whore. 3. The shit storm from the extreme wing will be epic, make the media daily, and help show how unable to govern are the R's. 

Even if it falls apart right away what's not to like?

1. He wouldn't ask for votes, he would ask for Democrats not showing up to vote.

2. That is already well known, part of what is driving opposition to him.

3. That would go away as soon as he proclaims to have reconsidered and will not give any of the committee gavels to a Democrat.

A poster here claimed that because of Obamacare he had to declare bankruptcy and shutter his small business.  He lamented all the lost jobs, how he had to sell off his business etc.   A month later, he was grousing about how much it cost to run his work vehicles.

Bill - I don't know about "thousands" but I had a specialist that quit. At my last appointment he flatly stated that being a doctor was no longer fun for him. The new bureaucracy was just too much.

My wife (MD) quit too.

Nothing to do with ACA, she just said she'd had enough of taking calls at 3:00a.m. and wanted a 9 - 5 job.  She went to work for a health insurance company.

But I'm sure some partisan hack would blame Obama.
