Elderly parachute usage or disposal

Recommended Posts

Crazy . . . .  when I posted this I thought I had marked all of the boxes correctly to receive an email if anyone responded.  Because the long awaited email never showed up, I thought it wouldn't hurt to check the site anyhow.  Imagine my surprise when I saw what I had started.  To answer some of the questions from somewhere in the above writings:  This is an emergency chute - was a cushion in a glider a few times.  Never jumped.  The owner passed away in 1999 and his widow gave it to me.  I don't have a need for it and as stated earlier, I just don't want it to go in the dump.  Maybe it is worth something to someone?  Maybe a donation to a museum or school?

As to the other point - the "Notify me of replies" appears to be on (it is in green after all).  Let's see if it works this time.  Thanks.
