Buying used gear from Canada

Recommended Posts

If all the components were made in North America, the NAFTA agreement says that they are not allowed to tax it when it crosses the border.
The best way to avoid the rapacious "customs brokerage" fees charged by major courier companies is to mail packages via Canada Post and the United States Postal Service.

Anyone know what I would have to pay in customs or tax if I buy used gear from Canada and have it shipped to the US?

Oh hell Sandy, Iowa's practically in Canada. Go pick it up? Of course, you'll have to stop in and say hello as you pass thru..... B|
