Biden/Harris fanboy club

My feelings are mixed regarding every cretin that we elect to high office.  Every time I've said "we couldn't do worse" a candidate is elected that proves me wrong.

Biden's track record going back to his schoolboy days is that of plagiarism and cheating.  Even if someone agrees with me on something, I have a hard time siding with someone bereft of ethics.

Harris makes Biden look like a shining example of wit and critical thinking.  I'm reminded of rumors that Khadafy sent a hit squad to protect George H. W. Bush to keep Quayle out of office.  Harris might be just that kind of insurance policy, where invoking the 25th Amendment would give us a dud for the ages.

It is a testament to the robustness of our Republic that we can survive the mediocrity of the present administration, not to mention the raw dreadfulness of the last.  Having said that, there is a limit, which I fear we are approaching.

“The Quinnipiac poll published Wednesday showed Biden’s approval rating at 33 percent, marking a low point for the president in that poll. But his approval among Hispanic voters in the poll was even lower, at 26 percent.”

Biden’s abject failure is about to put a nail in the coffin of progressivism

Nah, that's like assuming that science (as opposed to The Science (tm)) will put an end to religion.

Apparently, fantasy is always seen as preferable to nasty realities in some circles.  Thus, the delusions that make up such ideologies as 'progressivism' will always have their adherents.

Our only inexhaustible natural resource is stupidity.  Anyone who figures out how to harness it is set for life.

Indeed. Just think how much better less progressive societies are to live in. It's a pity you can't be in Russia, China, or even better Iran.

Everything you dislike is progressive and everything you like is regressive and you think that is just outstanding.

There's a new series of conservative child propaganda books out called "The Tuttle Twins."  Each book is based on the work of a hero of the right.  One book, entitled "The Tuttle Twins and the Messed Up Market" laments the evil, evil specter of government subsidies. It was based on the work of Austrian School founder Ludwig von Mises, who once said:

“It cannot be denied that Fascism and similar movements aiming at the establishment of dictatorships are full of the best intentions and that their intervention has, for the moment, saved European civilization. The merit that Fascism has thereby won for itself will live on eternally in history.”

That's right.  They are teaching children memes promulgated by a supporter of fascism who believes that it saved Western civilization, and has merit.

==================================================================================

Or to use the appropriate right wing language:

"They are RAMMING fascism down our children' THROATS!  They won't be happy until they brainwash all children into hating Jews and worshiping Hitler!  They are literally grooming them to be submissive when the next right wing fascist seizes power in the US."

But hey, that Disney is really awful, huh?

There is a whole series of books from that group. The Tuttle Twins and the Case of the Really Bad Libertarian Propaganda  Its unfortunate that nuance of ideas, even gross irrational representation of fact. Can be so readily swallowed by adults.

Its why propaganda is so powerful.

Brent will forever not understand the differences between: Marxism, fascism, dictatorship, dictatorship Kleptocracy, communist Kleptocracy and theocracy. Such nuances only mix together in his mind to be less than the ideal GOP America.
