When you have to lie to make your troll, your troll really isn't a very good one.

How about this?

https://www.manhattancontrarian.com/blog/2022-4-13-is-there-anyone-taking-this-green-energy-transition-thing-seriously

“Although President Biden has supposedly committed the entire federal bureaucracy to the “net zero” by 2050 transition, the EIA projects steady and even increasing fossil fuel usage in the U.S. through the entire 28 intervening years.”

As I have said…GND = magical thinking

Wasn’t it you who defined  troll as someone who promulgates a notion  against all evidence to the contrary?

BTW, NOAA just confirmed the pause has continued for yet another month despite records of both emissions and atmospheric levels of CO2.

How about this instead: remove the tip of your tail from your mouth, replace it with your thumb, type that you're sorry for posting smack you haven't read or thought through, disconnect your router and get some sleep.

Without lies, how will he get any angry responses?

Let’s be honest, it is the truth that pisses you off. An incorrect meme gets ripped to shreds in a few hours.  Temperature and weather data from NOAA…not so much.
Here is some more reality you can chew on.

“Raw material and logistics inflation coupled with downward price pressures from auctions have led to an unsustainable situation where wind OEMs are selling at a loss, with the sector unable to deliver Europe's planned tripling of wind capacity by 2030, industry leaders have warned…Right now, different suppliers within the industry are reducing their footprint, they are reducing jobs in Europe,” she explained.”

That's unsustainable. Maybe if, for reasons not yet apparent, Europe decided to back away from Russian Oil and Gas the market might firm a bit.

I understand renewables will not overtake fossil fuels

Once again, Brent shows that he doesn't understand the simple concepts of finite vs infinite.

It's embarrassing - This is something my 5 year old gets.

You are very clever, I should have qualified that claim with “not in our lifetime”

Sometimes "green washing" is about burning the same amount of fossil fuel, but in some one elses' valley. For example, we see smog over Vancouver every summer. Most of that smog is created by automobiles burning fossil fuels. Electric cars help displace that smog to some other valley .. perhaps in the Himalayas where Chinese miners get much of their lithium. Who knows how "clean" Chinese mining practices are????????

Absolutely!  However bad things are, trying to do anything about it will only make it worse.  Best to give up and just suck up all that smoggy air.   Maybe we'll get lucky and died of lead in the water before the ozone burns away our lungs.

Ha!

Ha!

We get our lithium from Australia and Bolivia.  China is a distant third.

I think that correlation has been broken since 2016. Try again ;)

Would that be when you said EVs would overtake IC vehicles in four years (now three years) or when you said China had to build more coal plants because wind and solar were more scalable and economical.

Speaking of that, why doesn’t Europe just build more wind and solar and cut out Russia from the European energy market. It seems so easy.

?? They are.

Europe installed 17.4GW of wind in 2021 and 26 gigawatts of solar in 2021.  That's the equivalent of 15 large natural gas power plants.  In one year.
