baronn 111 #1 December 15, 2015 I've been trying to reach Ralph Hatley without success. I bought what I thought was an STC jump door from him. The plane is slated for export and my DAR found that the door is NOT STC'd for a P model. He told me it's pending approval. Funny how he didn't mention that when I bought it. Probably any other time, this wouldn't matter. I need the export cert to get this outta the country. Of course the DAR had to search for 3 days to discover this. I realize it's all my fault that I didn't research it a bit more but, I trusted Ralph and he mislead me. Anybody got a different number besides the call ralph? baronn 111 #5 December 17, 2015 Suggested that. The DAR said I would have to remove the hinge replace the frame where the holes are and get it signed off. Can just imagine what that wude cost.
