airdvr 197 #1 Posted November 17, 2021 (edited) While the vax mandate may have stalled legally there is a group of people who will be required to be vaxed or face termination. If your workplace receives Medicaid dollars the vax mandate is still on. Here's where it gets interesting. Where Rox is Director of health...if you are exposed and are unvaxxed you are supposed to isolate for 14 days. You aren't allowed to work. You will however be paid for that time. Get vaxxed vs. 2 week paid vacation. Edited November 17, 2021 by airdvr
mistercwood 287 #2 November 17, 2021 Is that just using an existing clause in the employment contract e.g. exposure to any specific class of infection means you're stood down with pay for 2 weeks, or is it specifically a provision brought in for Covid? I guess stuff like this is going to slip through the cracks unintentionally from time to time. One would hope that in general, anyone who can get the jab is still getting it regardless of a hypothetical bonus vacation.
airdvr 197 #3 November 18, 2021 Feds say if you're quarantined after exposure you must be paid for the time off.
