Joel Greenberg pleaded guilty to six charges, including conspiracy.  Soon, we should know the name of the co-conspirator(s).  Conspiracy is a crime for all of the co-conspirators, even if only one actually acts upon the conspiracy.  Now that Greenberg has pleaded guilty, any information that he may have given investigators can be used.  i.e., he is not shielding others by taking the 5th for himself.

Matt Gaetz shows colleagues nude pictures of his conquests on the House floor?  Has drug-n-hooker parties with prominent supporters?  Conspires with Greenberg to transport minors across state lines for sex?  Accepts money to support a crony's legislation?  Well that's OK.  I mean, he hasn't actually been found _guilty_ of anything.  Right?

It happened in Florida. Moral standards are different there then they are in Wyoming.

That’s not quite to creepy, mainly because 18-year-olds are often fairly immature. But it’s well into “he should have known better.” But it’s really a HS freshman dating a HS senior. Her parents generally object — and for reasons that became evident in this case. HS freshmen are even dumber than seniors

Bouchard married the girl when she was 15 and he was 19  They divorced three years later. She killed herself when she was 20.

Creepy?  It didn't involve gay or transgender relationships or result in an abortion, so it's all approved GOP  behavior.

A high school senior dating and having sex with a high school freshman is creepy. I remember school - a 2 school year difference was creepy even at the time, 3 was just fucking wierd.

And he wasn't just having sex with the girl, he pressured her into an unhappy 'marriage', and when you consider she killed herself only a couple of years after they divorced it seems he was not only taking advantage of a child but of a troubled and vulnerable child. Then today he is presenting all of this (including screwing up his relationship with their kid to the point that they are completely estranged) not as a shameful incident in his life that he has learned from but as an example of what a decent, standup guy he is. If he was too dumb to know better at 18, what's his excuse now he's 55?

Oh please, Professor.

They turned a blind eye to Trump's traitorous behavior with Russia, while vilifying Clinton for 'selling uranium'. 

They turned a blind eye to Trump's (and the rest of the Rs) giving huge tax cuts to the super rich, while vilifying the idea of giving money to the 'ordinary folks' struggling to pay the bills.

They ignored Trump's corrupt behaviors (and there were a LOT of them) while vilifying Clinton for her use of a personal e-mail account (which Trump's spawn did the entire time he was in office). 

 

They turned a blind eye to Trump's denigration and disrespect to the military ('suckers and losers') while trying to pretend Clinton was responsible for the deaths in Benghazi.

And, last but not least, they attempted to overturn the legitimate results of an election, all the while claiming 'voter fraud'.

Trumpism. Hypocrisy. 
Someone can be a hypocrite without being a Trumpette. 

But you can't be a Trumpette without being a hypocrite.

And just when you thought Gaetz had managed to hide everything . . . he's baaack!

In 2017 Joel Greenberg (now in jail for sex trafficking of minors) hooked Gaetz up with a woman.  Gaetz asked her if she had “any interest in flying on a private plane” for a three-day weekend trip to the Florida Keys.  He said it would be "2 guys, 4 girls. A very high-quality adventurous group.”  The woman agreed.  Gaetz said "Fantastic. As is true with all time you spend w me, it'll be fun and chill . . . You have a passport?"

ABC News has identified the woman as a woman that Greenberg paid to have sex with his guests.  Venmo records confirm the payments.

But that's not the most interesting part.  As soon as the news broke, Gaetz's office made this statement:

“Rep. Gaetz has no knowledge of these activities by Mr. Greenberg and was not involved in them. Rep. Gaetz has never paid for sex. Rep. Gaetz does not know anything about the woman you're referencing, though he takes thousands of selfies each year.”

(Because of course he took a selfie with her.)

So the "I never even met that woman" story starts to come apart.  They found her (via the text messages) and investigators have been asking her questions.  A few reports:

"The woman also told investigators she had sex with Gaetz at a party she was paid to attend, and the sex was consensual."

"This attorney told The Daily Beast on Thursday that the woman, in fact, received payments in connection with multiple sex parties"

Gaetz's next defense - "I have sex with so many women at those parties, you expect me to keep them all straight?"

Or perhaps he will go full Trump.  "She's crazy.  She's so ugly no one would have sex with her.  I never even saw her before.  Witch hunt!  I'm the victim here!"
