Current talk is that this is a bargaining chip and will not be in the final bill. I believe they are going after photo ID to vote.

I noted this exhibition of bravery, honor and duty from Georgia senate republicans:

"Three vulnerable Republican senators from swing districts — John Albers, Kay Kirkpatrick and Brian Strickland — were the only ones who did not co-sponsor the bill and opted to be excused from the vote."

They were later seen "representing their constituents" on the beach in Cozumel.

Meanwhile in the tribe with integrity, one that respects the rule of law.

"Democrats in the New York Legislature delivered a severe blow to Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Thursday, emerging from a lengthy private meeting with a promise to launch their own investigation into the governor’s behavior — the first step toward impeachment.
