I guess Tiffany is a research assistant at Georgetown Law where she remained after graduation. She ought to be having an interesting career.

Which makes Tiffany the only member of the familiy to actually have a single qualification for holding public office.

Appeals panel says judge erred in blocking DOJ probe of Mar-a-Lago documents

The panel ruled that Cannon erred when she prevented federal prosecutors from using the 100 documents — marked as classified — recovered from Trump’s estate as part of a criminal inquiry.

“[Trump] has not even attempted to show that he has a need to know the information contained in the classified documents,” the panel ruled in a 29-page decision. “Nor has he established that the current administration has waived that requirement for these documents.”

Sanity prevails. And 2 of the 3 judges were appointed by Trump.

Hi Robert,

I was just reading about this decision.  And, the part I really like is:  “[Trump] has not even attempted to show that he has a need to know the information contained in the classified documents,”

Well, so much for all of the winning.

And now, with this coming at him, it is a great time to be a Trump watcher:  NY AG Letitia James sues Donald Trump, kids and company (nypost.com)

What does a rich guy have to do to get jailed for contempt of court?

Have a lawyer stupid enough to make the contemptuous representations. ...Ops doesn't happen then either.

You're just being silly. Like the crowds that cheered John Gotti, trump's followers love him because he always gets away with it.

When he looks at those polls(quote above). It all just encourages him to act exactly the same. He will increase fundraising and probably come out ahead. So those who cheer minor court victories for lady justice. Are fooling themselves.

Never going to happen....judge at some level associates with them and "that type of person" really doesn't belong in jail. It is those "other people" from different social classes that you cannot empathize with that are much easier to send to jail.

This concepts is pretty pervasive throughout society. Same concepts that drive dehumanizing your enemy to make it easier to kill them.

Ask Steve Bannon. Actually I believe he will do time for contempt of congress, not court. He is scheduled to be sentenced Oct.21. Most rich people have good lawyers who will advise them when they are getting close to the edge and make sure they don't step over it.

Hi Robert,

Back when my son was a criminal defense attorney, he often would tell his clients, 'Just be quite.  I'll do the talking.'  Few actually listened to his advice.

They are their own worst enemies.

Congress will pretty much only ever reuire testimony from the rich and powerful so that's a bit different. And Alex Jones absolutely stepped over the edge. He's so far over it he can't even see the edge anymore. The edge is a dot to him.

I'm wondering if because it is a civil matter in a civil court the penalties for not following court orders are less stringent. Mostly financial. The judge did impose sanctions and limits to his arguments because of his lack of cooperation.

The Special Master has given Trump’s team to the end of next week to tell him exactly which documents in the DoJ seizure list Trump claims were planted by the FBI.

When they come back with ‘none’ will it make any difference to be trolls here or in Fox News?

Yes, the FOX trolls are professionals, paid and effective. Here they are amateurs, not paid...well some may receive some rubles and effective in their own minds.

Three days ago Myanmar stated that it was moving away from the US dollar and going to the ruble. China just announced that it would be paying for petroleum imports in yuan and rubles. So out faithful NATO ally, Turkey not wanting to miss out on helping Russia just announced that Putin: 25% of Russian gas supplies to Turkey will be paid for in roubles

Another Trump appointed judge has rejected Mike Pillow's lawsuit against the FBI, seeking to have his phone returned. They cited the 11th District decision against Trump from a couple of days ago . . .

And to think people thought Trump would leave no legacy.
