Post trump Legal Actions, Including his Enablers

When former Clinton national security adviser Samuel R. “Sandy” Berger removed copies of one document from the National Archives in 2003, he lost his security clearance for three years, was fined $50,000 and was sentenced to community service.

What should the penalty be for removing 15 boxes of documents from the White House, and flushing others down the toilet or ripping them up?

Being banned from any elective office for life would be a start.

Is that question not better directed to Mitch Mcconnell? Recent news reports indicate embryonic development of a backbone.

Not a peep on the Putin Propaganda Broadcasting System, aka FOX. Too busy talking about Hillary. Oops, stopped talking about Clinton corruption because Hillary threatened legal action.

Pfft.

Fox would just use the 'no rational person would take this seriously' defense...

Again.

Putin up or Shuttin' up. Before Epoch Times runs with it you heard it first here: Do you think it's worth it to Putin to raid Ukraine to take the heat off of Trump? No doubt Trump would re-bomb Hiroshima if there was a 2% chance it would help. Hmm.. Inquiring Minds.....

I don't think Putin is doing it for Trump.

International crises don't affect how a state's Attorney General does her job. Or how a civil court conducts their business.

It might distract Congress some, but I don't think it would derail the Jan 6 committee's work.

I don't even think it would push any real legal actions against Trump off the front page. How many Americans can pick out Ukraine on a map? Or Russia? Or any state other than Florida, Texas, California and the one they live in?

No.

Putin is going to annex Ukraine one bite at a time, and nobody is going to do anything about it.

No, no, they are just sending in piece-keeping troops!

You know, so Putin can keep this piece...and that piece...and that piece over there...

Hubris is abandoning your allies/friends because you're strong enough not to need them this year. It's kind of like showing your superiority by treating wait staff like shit -- they say far more about you than they do about the worthiness of your friends of help

We might ought to consider whom we ally with, but if we should ever need help, we'll need friends, and not just the temporary good nature of the current local bully.

There’s a lesson for Canada in this. One day when the United States falls to a right wing dictatorship we are going to wish we had nuclear weapons.

That's one Genie I wish would go back in the bottle.

Dr. Richard Gatling expected that his invention would make war too horrible to consider.  As Rocket J. Squirrel noted, "That trick never works!"

Well, Trump thinks Putin is a 'genius' for his moves.

More evidence that Trump is simply Putin's bitch.

Hi Joe,

According to a national news 'Breaking News' bulletin, Putin has invaded Ukraine in totality.

PS)  It will be interesting to see what Trump says now.
