No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. BBC reporting it's confirmed that shots have been fired inside the building, and have shown photos of the legislative chamber door barricaded from the inside with multiple guards pointing their guns at the door and the protesters on the other side. I keep remembering the Rs who (for some reason) complained that Obama's presidency had made America a global laughing stock, and Trump would bring them respect again. olofscience 420 #23 January 6, 2021 Quote Rioters have been cleared from the Senate From CNN's Ted Barrett, Ali Zaslav and Manu Raju The Senate floor has been cleared of rioters, and an officer told CNN that they have successfully squeezed them away from the Senate wing of the building and towards the Rotunda, and they are removing them out the East and West doors of the Capitol.
