I was just thinking that I am thankful today because in my life, despite the things I read about some people resenting taking precautions to keep their neighbors safe, all my friends and family and the ones I care for are doing their part without complaint.

We may not all be completely perfect, but we are all trying. Keep it up and thank you.

Ah yes, Arlo Guthrie. The local classic rock station plays it at noon every year. 

It's kinda funny. 

Thanksgiving as a holiday had nothing to do with the Pilgrims. 

Lincoln established it to give thanks that the Civil War was going to be won. And democracy, the idea that "all men are created equal" would be preserved.

So it's especially appropriate this year.
