Most of the states w/vote counting issues all use Dominion Voting Systems.

They have an interesting history.

"Counting issues" = "swing state voting for Biden" I have a feeling.

Not so fast there.

Why do you keep using WH sources for your information? Sources of information that pander to trump and his appointees? i have also heard those same reports and they don't pass the smell test. What would those parents gain? What could those children gain?

You're a smart guy just step aside a bit from sources of info that are not directly related to trump.

What's to gain?  How about reunification with the children inside the border.  Or perhaps having the children become US citizens.  But I'm certain it must be something far more sinister with the Trump administration.

Quite frankly, I can easily imagine parents saying that they don't want to be reunited with their children, if they're older, and it means the children will stay in the US.

What would you do to keep your children safe? Send them to live with relatives? Send them to live with strangers? It's that bad for some of these families. I find it fairly appalling that the US refuses to consider these as exigent circumstances, but, well, we didn't for the Jews in WW2, either. 9_9

"Months before the Trump administration rolled out its “zero-tolerance” policy on the U.S.-Mexico border, hundreds of migrant children were already being separated from their families with little fanfare. As those children were shuttled around the country in late 2017, their parents were swiftly detained or deported, with few records taken by the government about where they went or how to contact them....

” Lee Gelernt, an ACLU attorney, said in an interview with The Washington Post. “Not only are we still looking for hundreds of families, but we would have never even known about these families if the Trump administration had its way.”...

Of the parents of 545 separated children who have not yet been contacted, lawyers expect 75 will be reachable by phone. Another 187 have been found but not reached successfully, and 283 have not been found entirely.

“At some point, we’re going to hit a group of families that becomes very hard to find,” Gelernt said. “It’s not inconceivable that we’ll still be looking for them a year from now.”

With little more than a misspelled name or an outdated phone number, the attorneys travel to remote, mountainous villages that are sometimes controlled by gangs and often suspicious of all outsiders. The roads to these tiny hamlets are bumpy and ragged, and the prevailing tongue might be the Mayan language of Mam, not Spanish."

Hi folks,

Poor widdle Donnie, no one wants to play with him anymore.

' he has seethed with anger, fuming that he lost to a candidate he doesn’t respect and believing that the media –- including what he views as typically friendly Fox News -- worked against him.'

It's tough being a loser.

airdvr,

Please help me understand. Seriously. Why would a guy like you vote for Trump this election? There must be some sort of decision tree that gets you there. From the outside all I can guess is that it has to be that you believe his economic policies will benefit you over the next four years. Is there more to it?

Fun quotes from only two years ago:

Kayleigh McEnany:  Democrats are being sore losers.  They refuse to acknowledge they lost the election, so what do they do? They cry "malfeasance!  Criminality!  Wrongdoing!  Fraud!"

FOX anchor:  Democrats, more so than republicans, seem to have a problem conceding defeat.  Either the election system broke down, or some mystery votes are hiding somewhere.

Gingrich:  You have a whole series of democrats who have said bluntly "if our candidate doesn't win, they stole the election!"

FOX News: The dems just want to make America suffer.  It's like losing the World Series and then demanding an extra inning - a day later.

FOX News: The democrats are refusing to accept the declared results of the national media.  So how do they do this?  Lo and behold, they find missing ballots!

Hannity: Ramping up election conspiracy theories, accusing republicans of outright stealing the election!  Kinda rich. You know what?  Sounds sore loser-ish.

Trump vs. just another Washington insider.  Not that difficult actually.

Now that's as lazy an excuse as I've ever heard. Are you sure there is not a touch of good old "identity politics" in your decision to just accept his flaws?

What do you expect the President to do? I ask this honestly, because I expect a statesperson, who will have general policies and directions they want to go, and a cabinet who are knowledgeable in their fields -- and all of these people advised by advisers who aren't necessarily as good interpersonally, but who are all experts in their fields. I expect the President to have a political compass of some sort -- and that can be a huge guideline. E.g. "no 'socialism,'" or "free trade," or "health care," etc.

But one who just throws bombs won't get much done. And I really, reallly, want intellectual honesty and consistency from as many of the congresscritters as possible. Which is why things like all the statements around the Garland nomination vs. the Coney Barrett nomination stick in my craw, because they had such self-serving "whatever it takes" approaches to getting done what they wanted.

Likewise the "I'll be the hardest-working president ever, no golf for me" statements, and just about all the stuff that is absolutely within Trump's control that didn't happen. The wall was one thing (it was hyperbolic, and wrongly proposed, but it was at least a stab in a direction), he did need budget for that, and it wasn't entirely in his control.

So I find Trump to be wholly unacceptable, in large part because he's a bomb-thrower, with no real concept of what's going to happen when he's done. That's fine for some positions, but not the President of the last (well, not for long) superpower.

I've never expected Trump to be my moral guidepost.  I don't need him for that nor do I pretend that every other asshat in DC is some sort of Mother Theresa.  Sorry you think my explanation is lazy.

Why don't you just come out and tell the truth. i.e. I'm self employed, I created my own job, I get nothing from the government. I believe in the smallest government possible. I look after my kids, my wife, my family, my friends. I expect others to do the same.

I'm paraphrasing but why don't you expand? If necessary?

Dude, Trump was president for four years.  He's stocked the government with his own people, many of whom are criminals.  He calls in favors.  He bribes people with money and power.  He appoints his own children to lucrative government positions.  He promised people things and then gave up on them as soon as he was in office.  He golfs more than he works, then brags about how hard working he is.  He uses the power of his political office to shirk responsibility (and culpability) for his crimes.  He funnels tax dollars into his own businesses.

He's the ultimate Washington insider.

Study Amendment 12 of the U.S. Constitution.

Fun fact from the picture in that article!  One of the people on the stage of that lawn-care company with Rudy - a person Rudy was relying on for his evidence - is a convicted sexual offender who used to expose himself to 7 year old girls.  (I am guessing that perhaps OAN did not point that out to you.)

This is who you are holding up as your political savior?

That was shallow, insulting to everyones intelligence and I don't believe you. I know you don't GAF. I believe it was first and foremost a personal pocketbook decision. Knowing in advance who and what he is you chose inflicting him on the country again in the belief he would help you push real estate better than Biden.

Or the last few on the GOP side who cared about the constitution, service, America. John McCain for example.

I'm sorry you don't like my explanation.

And Bill...the list of things you say Trump does, you can just about put any politician in Washington into the same description.  The only difference is they hide it better than he did.
