Steve Bannon Charged With Fraud In ‘We Build The Wall’ Fundraising Scheme

"Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon and three others were charged with fraud by Manhattan prosecutors Thursday in connection with the “We Build The Wall” fundraising scheme, with the Department of Justice claiming that hundreds of thousands of donors were defrauded as a result, with the campaign raising over $25 million."

Ho hum just more of the same trump type corruption, more draining the swamp.

Hi Ken,

And I think that those same 'Manhattan prosecutors' have Trump in their sites also just as soon as he is out of office.

I see that Trump has already offered his standard reply that basically comes down to:

Barely know the guy.

Edited to add: How long until we hear this is a deep state ploy?

Fabulous, they finally got him. Now if only the Deep State can put that white nationalist Miller in jail where he needs to go! Lock 'em all up!!!!

Too funny, I was wondering how Miller was lining his pockets today. He's the last of the OG boys and yet to be charged.

Hehe, I get ya.

Plenty of time before Biden's inauguration for Trump to wave his magic pardon wand.

He as only been charged and there is not likely to be much of anything before January 20th unless he pleads guilty. AFAIK you can't pardon a charge.

Sure you can. Even before any indictments.

Even for 'unspecified crimes' ('any and all' is the term).

Federal pardons apply to federal crimes.

A Presidential pardon cannot be applied to state crimes.

I think the NY State's Attorney General will have a few indictments to hand down.

We shall see.

this amount of top-level-corruption used to be found only in eastern commie-states - at least that's what everybody was thinking.
following all that, I still wonder, that there seems to be no way of putting a crook like trump out of office before his term ends. not that this only applies to the U.S.
