And you wonder why we're skeptical....Thousand Currents is the funding behind BLM and the vice chairwoman of Thousand Currents. Pretty clear what her agenda might be.

Susan Rosenberg is a convicted domestic terrorist and radical left activist whose youth was spent protesting the Vietnam War and racism in America. A member of the Weather Underground and other radical organizations which used violence as a tool for political change, Rosenberg was sentenced to 58 years in federal prison after being arrested for possession of explosives and weapons during the planning of a number of bombing operations. [1] She was also a suspect in a 1981 armored car robbery which left one guard and two officers dead. She was released in 2001 when then-President Bill Clinton commuted her sentence. [2]

And the support behind Trump includes at least five convicted felons, one of whom was convicted for colluding with the Russians.  Pretty clear where Trump's marching orders are coming from.

Wikipedia Rosenberg's sentence was commuted by President Bill Clinton on January 20, 2001, his last day in office, to the more than 16 years' time served. Her commutation produced a wave of criticism by police and New York elected officials.[21]

After her release, Rosenberg became the communications director for the American Jewish World Service, an international development and human rights organization, based in New York City. She also continued her work as an anti-prison activist, and taught literature at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. After teaching for four semesters there as an adjunct instructor, the CUNY administration, responding to political pressure, forced John Jay College to end its association with Rosenberg, and her contract with the school was allowed to expire without her being rehired.[22]

The charity she is involved with: Thousand Currents. "Thousand Currents partners with grassroots groups - led by women, youth, and Indigenous Peoples in the Global South - that are transforming their communities and creating lasting solutions to our shared global challenges.

Our partners develop solutions that are innovative and impactful. They work to ensure their communities have access to healthy and locally grown food, are able to enjoy economic prosperity that generates wellbeing for all people, and live in a safe and healthy environment that supports abundant life."

as compared to Trump Pays $2 Million to 8 Charities for Misuse of Foundation Under a settlement, the president admitted he had used his charity to bolster his campaign and settle business debts.

Influencewatch, one of the largest supporters the Koch brothers.

"In the second book, Dark Money, Jane Mayer examines the rise of David and Charles Koch, billionaire brothers who started their political careers as members of fringe right wing libertarian groups. Today, they are principal funders of a network known by its critics as the Kochtopus whose tentacles extend to foundations, think tanks and political organizations that systematically advance antiregulatory free-market policies at every level of society. Mayer shows how the Koch brothers and their wealthy allies have used philanthropic and political contributions to frame the national agenda and to compete effectively against political parties and other mainstream organizations. She notes that while the Kochs and their partners describe their policy objectives as idealistic efforts to reduce government encroachment on individual liberty, in practice these policies directly benefit the bottom line of their business empires. For example, in 2010 the Koch-supported advocacy group Americans for Prosperity helped to elect Congressional representatives who then cut funding for Environmental Protection Agency enforcement by 27%.(p.274) EPA had repeatedly fined the Koch brothers energy businesses for violating pollution laws."

Nothing less than a PAC in the guise of a "think tank" with the sole purpose of eliminating regulations so they can increase the bottom line of their companies.

What a funny site. Their entire entry on the Koch brothers reads: Charles Koch is the chairman and CEO of Koch Industries. David doesn't even rate his own page.

Great job watching that influencexD

It's in the op.

The OP makes a claim that she is involved in funding of BLM. That implies that BLM is an organization. Again, it is a popular movement, not an organization.

It also seems to imply that the social movement known as BLM would be a bad thing to support. Just why do you think that this movement is not worthy of support?

From their website...

#BlackLivesMatter was founded in 2013 in response to the acquittal of Trayvon Martin’s murderer. Black Lives Matter Foundation, Inc is a global organization in the US, UK, and Canada,

I think they have an agenda other than just BLM.

Folks, it's just another example of the panicking Trumpists throwing dust in the air to try to distract from the lies, cheating, associating with felons, corruption and general incompetence of this administration and its leader.

No panic here John.  This isn't even about the election.  Please try to follow along. It's about a convicted terrorist.

But Trump...but Trump.  Get new material.

OK let's point out all the fails in your hype.

Does Susan Rosenberg financially support Black Lives Matter?  No.  There is no one Black Lives Matter.  It's like asking which organization in the US supports rights.

Does Susan Rosenberg financially support the Black Lives Matter network, the group that runs the website Black Lives Matter?  No.  No connection.

Does Susan Rosenberg financially support the Black Lives Matter foundation, a group that does a huge amount of fundraising?  No.  No connection.

Does Susan Rosenberg financially support the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, another fundraising group?  No.  She has never given any money to them.

So how did the wingnuts make the connection?  The Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation contracted with Thousand Currents so they could use their tax-exempt status to fundraise.  And that's where they found a tenuous connection.  Now, does she run Thousand Currents?  Nope.  She's the vice chair, which is a board position.

That's it.  That's the connection.  She works for a company they contract with.  Which is like claiming that you are a white supremacist because the vice president of the construction company you used for your home was in the KKK thirty years ago.

Ha ha - very amusing.

Don't need new material on Trump (although he supplies it every day). We already know he's a lying con-man, a sexual predator, incompetent, a narcissist and a bigot.  YOU know it too.

In today's cancel culture that would probably be enough.

A straw here, a straw there, a blade of grass blowing in the wind. Grab it and hold tight because its the answer.

Trying to pin down a trump supporter with fact is like wrestling greased pigs at the county fair.

Its a lot less tenuous than that.

From Snopes:

What's True

Susan Rosenberg has served as vice chair of the board of directors for Thousand Currents, an organization that provides fundraising and fiscal sponsorship for the Black Lives Matter Global Movement. She was an active member of revolutionary left-wing movements whose illegal activities included bombing U.S. government buildings and committing armed robberies.

That's exactly what I said.  She is vice chair of a fundraising organization that is doing work for one of the three versions of Black Lives Matter.  Not the original one and not the one that runs the website.

Again, it's like someone saying that because the vice president of one of the construction companies you used to build your house was in the KKK 30 years ago, you are a KKK supporter.
