Yes...they're after the Jamaican voter.

If anything they would likely hope for support from the many times larger Indian community in the USA. Harris would not be the first bi-racial POTUS if that were to happen. But she would be the first one who was not half white.

Hi Ken,

Oh, the horror.  How will we ever survive?  :$

Especially, when you consider the failure of eight years of Obama.  The horror.  ;P

Jerry Baumchen

Well the job and economic growth of eight years under Obama. Were undone by trump in 31/2, sort of like a NJ casino bankruptcy.

I have no doubt this election season will get ugly.  I make no apologies for my observations.

Your contribution to the ugliness is duly noted.

I'm more concerned with how ugly it may get AFTER the election.

According to Michael Cohen and from his new book “Disloyal, A Memoir,”.  He predicted that the president “will never leave office peacefully.”

Cohen also portrays himself as a “bad guy” who helped the president, who he said acted “like a mob boss.”

“From golden showers in a sex club in Vegas, to tax fraud, to deals with corrupt officials from the former Soviet Union, to catch and kill conspiracies to silence Trump’s clandestine lovers, I wasn’t just a witness to the president’s rise—I was an active and eager participant,” he wrote.

I saw something the other day that talked about the first Black woman on a Presidential ticket.  I must have missed how India and Jamaica combined to make Africa.  Those tectonic plates sure do move fast.

Southerners considered 1/16th black to be black.

Harris is (to quote Jamaican Sarah Cooper speaking about herself) black enough to be called the N-word, but not black enough to use it.

Funny, no-one has ever claimed that every other VP in history was only picked to go after the European vote.

Congratulations on being racist enough to assume that Harris has nothing to offer but her colour.

You remind me of Sarah Palin.  There are around 54 nations in Africa.

Late night posting while exhausted and I forgot which continent was where. My mistake, thanks.

I cannot see Russia from my house though.

Yeah!  I saw a GOP representative calling himself African-American - but I found out he was born in the US!  What a liar.

You mean the one where her parents are Puerto-Rican, and east Indian?  Not African American?

No, not that one. That would be a very stupid conspiracy theory given that A ) neither of her parents are Puerto Rican, and B ) Puerto Ricans are Americans.

Hey, I've seen "West Side Story".  They come from PR to America and they speak funny:

Nor should you. But if you feel compelled to apologise for your ignorance, prejudice and failure to fulfill the most basic expectations those of us who give a shit have of someone with a voter registration card I'm sure we'll be all ears.

That could almost fit the definition of a PA.  If only I gave a flying f$#k about what you thought about me.  It's arrogance like this that gets Republican's elected.

It was no personal attack and you know it. It was commentary on your own statements in this thread. I concede I'm getting a bit crusty on the subject but, in fairness, it isn't voters like me who have totally fucked up our country by electing and continuing to support a moron like Trump. That is on you. You and others who simply cannot see or concede that socialism comes in the form of tax policy, highway construction projects or requirements that emergency rooms take everyone at the expense of the public purse. I've tried mightily to get my head wrapped around where Trump supporters are coming from.  In 2017 I sort of got the point. In 2020 I'm beyond mystified and have arrived at pissed off. Nothing, it seems absolutely nothing, the idiot does seems to move the conservative base. He is a bigoted, misogynistic, self dealing asshole who does not care an iota about anything beyond his own self interests. And he is our President. So you just be all irritated if that makes you happy. But when you go to mail a letter and there is no mail box don't blame the liberals.

Do you really believe that's an issue?

https://mailboxlocate.com/states/OR/cities/PORTLAND

I mean we don't even have any mailboxes up here except for the 2 at the post office and I've never had trouble mailing a letter.  And if it's too much for people to find one, they can just give it to the mail carrier or leave it in their own personal mailbox for pickup.

There is no reason for these types of arguments, just like when Harris compared Covid to Ebola - I mean who is she trying to fool, people on the right that would never vote for her anyway?  People on the left whose vote is already bagged even if she never opened her mouth?  Because swing voters aren't going to buy that BS - they're looking for something different, and there she was, trying to talk her way out in her very first speech as a vice presidential candidate - typical democrat form.
