So far the USPS said that the ones in Portland were vandalized and are being replaced with boxes that are more secure.

I'd guess that this happens regularly, it's just that people notice it now since it's a hot issue.  Kind of like when you learn a new word and start seeing it pop up everywhere.

We have mail theft around here all the time from that type of box. Sticky Mouse and rat traps on string work great for stealing from those boxes. Or you can just unbolt them  from the ground and steal the whole box. That technique works great for the many box apartment style mailboxes.

I bad mouth trump lots. But I have to give credit where credit is due. He saw what Xi did. He saw what Lukashenko did.He forced Svetlana Tikhanovskaya  to flee to Lithuania.

He has Barr taking care of insiders. He has his new insider at the postal service. First remove the sorting machines, then remove the PO boxes. Sow the seeds of doubt.

On Monday I'll e-mail the Canadian PM. If Canada has to give sanctuary to Biden and Harris it should. They are good honest people and would make good immigrants if trump seizes power.Because of Biden's age there may be some increased demands on the Canadian health care system. But its all good.

Don't you  find it odd that it's happening in so many states at the same time. Do you think they will put the replacement mail boxes in place before or after the election.

Looking at America from the outside it IS looking more like  a Banana Republic each day.

No because it's routine maintenance and it makes sense to move low volume mailboxes to areas with higher traffic that need them, especially now given the anticipated influx from mail-in balloting.

People really need to relax.  It's not that hard to find a mail box, and if you can't be bothered to go to the post office, here's an idea - just give it to your mail carrier or leave it in your own mailbox for pickup.

If it was Q saying that this was part of the deep state's plan to fix the election, you people would be saying "hey look, another kook and their stupid conspiracy theories."

Don't show their hypocrisy here - there is a whole thread about it  . . .

Routine maintenance is one of three completely independent reasons given out by official sources - the inconsistency in the messaging lends weight to concerns that something iffy is going on (concerns, not proof). This is also coupled with reports that many sorting machines have also been removed - and anecdotally these million dollar machines in some places have been literally scrapped, so can't be replaced. I'm taking that last part heavily salted until further evidence shows up.

While this all could easily still be innocent, the timing is at best just phenomenally short-sighted. Trump has literally admitted to interfering with the mail service because mail-in ballots could hurt him in the election, even though it is a much safer route for voting in the middle of a pandemic. To start removing the public face of that service immediately afterwards - without clearly stated, consistent and transparent reasons - is just plain dumb optics.

It is reasonable to question these actions without it bumping up to the level of a conspiracy theory.

That would make sense, had not Trump stated that his objective was to defund the Post Office and prevent mail-in voting.

Your very first reply intrigued me,"A Republic". interesting...Hope this helps some sleep better.

I'm sure you recognize the arrogance coupled with ignorance thats abound here.

And it still makes sense.  Correlation ≠ Causation, especially when similar procedures have been in place well before Trump was even elected.  Don't attribute to malice that which is easily explained by reality.   The burden is on you prove otherwise, but believe what you want I guess.

And again, is it really that hard to mail a letter anyway?

If one needed a conservative Constitutional Professor why would they choose John 'The Torturer' Woo?

The guy made his career making amoral, illegal arguments for the sake of political expediency.

I'm not going to bother spending an hour listening to someone who I know is happy to lie about the law to get the outcome he wants.

And BTW, since you posted the video, dont you think you should comment on the main points first?

American Passports Are Useless Now

I can go just about anywhere with my German passport. But almost no one wants to let in Americans these days.

Welcome to California ,where your drives license can't get you on a plane, in a federal building, and can't be used  as a "national" passport, but you are automatically registered to vote. With 15- 20 Million illegals in our nation,    ever wonder why most American and especially Californians are concerned. One illegal vote is too many,  specifically as it applies the minority, then, just call those concerns ,voter suppression.

The USPS has been a thorn in our foot for fifty years, with the free market doing there job better than they could I was hoping that relic was something we could agree on taring down?

Really? Fed-Ex is going to door to door deliver to a rural postal walk in nowhere N.D.from Hawaii for 55 cents. UPS is going to deliver two ounces for 70 cents. To the same nowhere addresses.

UPS,FED-EX and the others are going to have service pickup and door delivery in hicktown Idaho to backwoods Alaska?

Illegal voters? Some Noncitizens Do Wind Up Registered To Vote, But Usually Not On Purpose

This has been studied to death by the GOP and others with no substantiation.

One vote is too many eh?

The AP’s analysis indicates that Republicans won about 16 more U.S. House seats than would have been expected based on their average share of the vote in congressional districts across the country. In state House elections, Republicans’ structural advantage might have helped them hold on to as many as seven chambers that otherwise could have flipped to Democrats, according to the analysis.

So GOP gerrymandering won them three less House seats than the total number of illegal votes that the DOJ found.

Actually in California your driver's license can get you into a federal building and can be used to get on a plane.

The Constitution calls out its existence.  You'd have to amend that first.  Get started!  That takes a long time.

My point was clear on my pardon, and the 2nd. You needn't watch the video for it.

Yoo is quite clear, where by ignorance or by design,Trump is the Defender of Our Constitution.

Who is it that wants the expansion of the Supreme Court? Who want to eliminate the electoral college?
