The FBI offered him the opportunity to tell the truth or lie. He made his choice.

This is all been debunked in the transcripts from Schifts own investigation.

The biggest thing we have learned in the last few days with the release of the documents is, there was no reason to investigate Flynn or anybody else. This was a political hit job! Nothing less nothing more

Only if you ignore the phone calls to Mother Russia by Traitor Flynn.

Mike Pence disagrees.  Or is he part of the deep state?

Just be patient.  Trump's workers will revise history and then Pence will not be on record as knowing about Flynn's crimes.

“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.”

A relatively small stupid act has destroyed his life. He’s developed massive anxiety and depression, got his face tattooed because he was scared of looking weak in prison (which he may never go to as it is probably a suspended sentence).

I would like to see more social support, recognition of mental health issues

I'm really sorry to hear that nigel.

FWIW, perhaps it would help by not going into this thinking it has destroyed his life.  The anxiety and depression from all that has already led to impulsive behavior with possible long term consequences, and you don't want to get caught in a vicious cycle (whether in the criminal justice system or your social/professional life) where it becomes some type of self fulfilling prophesy.

His life might become more difficult from this point forward, and some opportunities may be lost, but it's certainly not destroyed.  I wouldn't be surprised if you guys had something similar to the U.S where one pleads guilty, but it's placed under advisement.  After satisfying the terms of probation, the charges would be dropped and the case dismissed.  But even if it's not, it's not the end of the world. . .this too shall pass. (sorry to be so cliche)

Every interview that was released the people stated they had no evidence of anything going on between Trump and Russia. Every damn one of them

I'll direct you to the most popular learning program for Americans about the law. Cops.

If an investigation into proper licensing results in a find of a bag of crack. You don't get let off the hook because the search was initiated for a different reason. Even you know that.

Knowing something and being able to apply or act effectively on it are different levels of cognition. Some people never get beyond the lowest level:

He broke no law. Those in the know stated that during the interviews during the Schift show investigation. There was no law being broken until strzok rewrote the 302 and put in their things. Flynn never said. It's also been stated that his call to the Russian was completely legal as he was part of the transition team for Trump. So your little example doesn't fit.

A five years in the slammer law. More serious than driving w/o License and DUI put together.

Go back to FOX for more talking points on treason, RICO violations

So you're a traitor too.

No surprise there.

Still funny to see people that don't understand how the law works until it kicks them in the crotch.

Thousands of pages just released from the Schift show prove the Democrats never ever had any Russia collusion evidence of any kind.

January 21, 2021 will be a day that will live in infamy. The day the SDNY serves the paperwork, the subpoenas and notices of actions. That lead trump to his new home in Rikers Island. trump will spend more time under oath than he did watching FOX. More time than even you spend watching FOX.

Between November 3 and January 20th. The little rats will start to scurry around, wanting out. In the end even Barr will turn on trump.

The machinations of trump Barr and his followers is coming to an end. Soon only Hannity will be left spinning the lies. Once the protections of the presidential office end. trump will have nowhere to hide. The long knives of the republican party will be sharpened and trump's back will look like porcupine.

This time next year the cost to clean up trump's mess will become evident to all his former supporters. A $26 trillion federal debt  Kim's new weapons, Iran emboldened and trump facing foreclosure from the bank of China. Even the bank of Pakistan won't lend to him.

Keep the ice as you commiserate with your bourbon on how you were played, bamboozled and used.

I’m afraid some of these posts sound just as breathlessly anticipatory as the ones about Hillary going to jail, and Obama being Kenyan-born.
Wendy P.

You're right of course but Marc, Barr and the whole trump tribe have become so emboldened since the senate integrity collapse. That throwing in a hanging or two seems reasonable along with the resurfacing of failed international policies.
