The most disgusting part about this post, is that he's probably dead serious.:/

Sure, you've seen enough of my posts to know just how god-fearing I am.  A true believer in the literal truth of the Bible, especially Exodus 7 - 11.  Compared with me,   Ron and Coree(e)ce look like Wiccans, or worse.

Doesn't god send plagues to send a message to the Pharoah?

Sending a plague that preferentially kills off old people who are far more likely to vote for Trump, while just being a minor inconvenience to the young, seems like a pretty clear message.

I'll bet you had a field day with AIDS.

Although John is now American his humour and way of expressing himself is still very much English.

Hi Ken,

Many, many years ago, I could never understand the dry British humour.  It went right past me.  But, once I got stationed there, while in the military, I became more exposed to it.  Now, I quite like it; and find it VERY funny.

God hates blood transfusions?  Must be a JW.

With mass gatherings being an issue and a health concern right now, I wonder if god will spare the faithful?
It would be interesting to see, is the corona virus transmission rate lower at church than a nightclub?

This event will be nothing like the time when God sent the plague to Europe in the Middle Ages

IIRC the priesthood had a much higher death rate than the population at large during the Black Death.

Must be a message there, but it took another 150 years for Luther to figure out what it was.

Again, utterly baffling how one day you're taking pride in your own sense of humour, and another day you're posting this.

That's our Turtle alright. Always claiming to be misunderstood and always deliberately misunderstanding others.

That's true of several people on here (not just Turtle.)  The intentional misunderstanding is one of the favorite ploys here when someone says something outrageous, and it fails to draw the sort of attention they desire.

How ironic is this?

Major kudos for using common sense . . . . but why don't they just pray it away?

Easter in 4 weeks......That usually draws crowds in lots of places. Thankfully God waited till Mardi Gras was done before unleashing Her fury upon the faithful.

Places in California have cancelled St. Patrick's day.

Wanna bet they don't cancel Cinco De Mayo?

So the calendar will go straight from March 16 to March 18?

Rather like not having a 13th floor in a high rise building.

It is, actually, your fault for intentionally misunderstanding what I wrote.

Only you can intentionally misunderstand what you read.

What I read was exactly what you wrote.

Are you taking the lead from Donald "I don't take responsibility at all" Trump?

They aren't going to cancel St. Patrick's Day OR Cinco de Mayo.  You know better than to try that.

I'm sorry you can't admit that you intentionally misunderstood.

I admit that YOU wrote something really stupid but won't accept responsibility for doing so.

People are saying that is "very Trumpish".
