The classrooms which don't need to be prepared right now because the teachers aren't using them. So why does she need to be there?

Maybe she's banging the janitor or needs to pick up a dime bag, but who cares? In any case asking Ron rhetorical questions has long since lost it's novelty.

I never thought I would be defending Ron :)

But isn’t it logical that if students are working from home a TA might be needed to go in? For example, mailing all the children learning materials, doing basic admin tasks that someone of that skill set would normally do etc?

Freakin' relax. It's not like you're defending Brent.

AG Barr just got on TV and described the shelter-in-place strategy like this:
"Just telling people to go home and hide under their bed."

Thank goodness that this crisis has brought us such an array of medical experts to chart the country's course through these difficult times.

Expert huh?  You mean like Greta is an expert on Climate Science?

Ron, if he had died you'd still praise God, correct?

I always chuckle when believers praise him for saving someone, completely dismissing him destroying everything around them.

See it all the time when disaster strikes. Seems like selective belief.

If you were to take NY/NJ out of the equation it looks like we're doing a fairly good job of reducing the curve.

Absolutely. In fact if you disregard ALL the current cases then we're doing amazingly!

(edited)

Lots of places seem to be having some success in reducing the spread.

The "Hide Under the Bed" rules seem to be working.

There's been some reports that show people aren't moving around.
They're using phone tracking data to see where people go and how far.

Projections of peak infections seem to be moving both lower and sooner.

I seem to recall Greta saying something to the effect of:

Don't listen to me, listen to the scientists.

OTOH, Trump keeps telling us how smart he is and how much he knows.

Even if he didn't know that people died from the flu.

NYC was probably always going to be an issue; it’s a big crowded city with a lot of people very dependent on daily contact. The poorer people are, the fewer options they have for being “flexible” in continuing with life, with things like getting food (when you live week to week, you can’t really stock up for a month) etc.

And as far as thanking God for the good without blaming for the bad, sometimes it’s good simply to remember that gratitude is better than blame. Using God as a focus for that is fine.
