Stream midget porn. Less data.

;)

That's pretty dang funny.

I was honestly thinking of BillVon when I picked up the new hotspot today.

Qualcomm "modem" is one of the performance benefits of the new unit...MODEM???

Is it truly still modulating and demodulating the data? I thought we were moving data in packets, cells, and frames, all purely digital now.

Bill???

Well, if it's a portable hotspot it has two radios - the WWAN (cellular) radio and the WLAN (wifi) radio.   Both transmit modulated EM waves, so you still need a modulator to encode the digital data onto the analog radio waves, and a demodulator at the other end to demodulate the analog back to digital.    But after the modulator/demodulator (modem) everything is digital.

Pretty much what I had reasoned out after asking. Residential gateways however...

Thanks Bill.

Seems to propagate the myth that Galileo invented the telescope.  It was actually a Dutch guy named Lippershey.

Hard to know if there is any truth to this. Both the site and the author seem to have decent reputations, but this would be absolutely incredible if true.

It would mean the Trump administration allowed the kidnapping of an American citizen, likely for personal gain, and is being blackmailed by another nation because of it....

It would be. To Ben honest it’s so explosive I’d put it in the ‘Uranium One’ category for now unless or until there is any corroborating evidence. If it turned out to have any truth the blame would lie squarely with Trump and his nepotistic hiring practices. Who knew putting a failing businessman reliant on foreign investment whose only qualification was being a family member in charge of so much foreign policy and making him exempt from ethics oversight could be a bad idea?

The other interesting thing though was Vindman saying there were important gaps in the official transcript/memorandum of the phone call. The R defence that Trump didn’t explicitly state he was asking for a personal quid pro quo may not even be accurate.

If its true - it could mean the end.

What’s fucked up is that we’re thinking ‘MIGHT’ it be true??? How’s that a reflection on our government?

As much as Obama was despised by some here a story like this simply wouldn’t have the same believability.

Everything to this pResident is transactional.  It's so gross.  I'm ordering my Guy Fawkes mask soon.  Or maybe just some clown face paint.

Those dipshits believed Obama was born in Kenya.

As far as the story goes, I'm a bit skeptical.

How would the Turks be able to intercept a call between Kushner & the House of Saud?

OTOH, Trump folded under pressure from the Turks for some reason.

Holy crap, thanks. I would have missed it. Damn.

I only became aware of it this morning, because an Anglophile friend put this on his FB page:

“The last man to enter parliament with honest intentions”

Happy November 5th.

From the Turks, yes. In any case, the deep state may be involved!

I think I recall that US intelligence had the audio when the story broke. Since then, the Trumpster deals with Turkey makes me wonder what actually happened. The shell has been cracked open now, so a LOT is expected to be exposed.

How did they have recordings of Khashoggi's execution?

Because it happened at the Saudi embassy in Turkey.

I have no doubt that every country has some sort of 'way in' to the embassies in their own countries.

But how could the Turks have intercepted a call that presumably went from the US to Saudi Arabia?

Unless they were foolish enough to have a conference call that included the Saudi ambassador to Turkey, how would the Turks be able to monitor it?
