Vector V308

Question

Does anybody have any experience putting a OP 143 reserve in a V308? It’s Listed as full fitting just wondering how tight it is and if it affects the tightness of the main.

UPT's sizing chart is correct. OP 143 is a tight fit in a V308, especially in a hot, dry environment. If the main is a tight fit too, the container will feel like a brick. The V310 is a better choice if you are packing an OP143.

yep. It's doable, but not much fun. PR126/OP143 (and below) is where the one-size-up OP doesn't really pack the same size as the smaller PR, at least in my experience. That becomes more pronounced as you get into smaller and smaller sizes...

So what about a V353 holding a Full fitting reserve (OP 218) and a standard fitting main like a Pulse 230 or pilot 210?

This is a combo I think I'm going to go with, and according to vectors canopy chart, they just say " don't put a main and a reserve in the same container that are both from the "full fitting" list. So I'm thinking choose either your main or reserve as a full fit and then the other canopy as a standard fit.  Of course going with standard fit on both main and reserve seems like a logical choice too but to leave room to downsize means Id like to choose a full fitting main and a standard fitting reserve....
