I know, I don't have a vote. But I'm just wondering, is it just me or is Joe starting to look less and less attractive as he stumbles along with nothing much to say other than "I'm electable, I'm electable"? I'm starting to think of him as "Sleepy Joe". The Trump magic is working!

I kinda wonder how anyone who was paying attention thought that he was electable in the first place.

While not as bad as Quayle, he sure had his share of 'stupid moments'.

The two that I remember the most are the one where he said he was advising his family against travelling on public transportation (buses and airplanes) during the Ebola panic and his 'home defense' advice for his wife to shoot 'two blasts from a double barrel shotgun in the air' if she thought she heard someone trying to break in.

No legitimate medical person suggested that Ebola was casually transmittable. Ever.

And shooting a gun, even into the air, at random noises is a crime. Shooting a double barrel twice means it's empty. So if there is a real threat, the 'wife' now holds an empty gun. And is basically defenseless.

Both those pieces of "advice" are idiotic.

Republicans routinely offer "thoughts and prayers" for all kinds of things, but when a Dem does the same she's considered a fruitcake?

Washington (CNN)Democratic presidential candidate Marianne Williamson posted and then deleted a tweet Wednesday morning that suggested the "power of mind" could deter Hurricane Dorian from slamming into the US.

"The Bahamas, Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas...may all be in our prayers now. Millions of us seeing Dorian turn away from land is not a wacky idea; it is a creative use of the power of the mind. Two minutes of prayer, visualization, meditation for those in the way of the storm," her now-deleted post read.

From your article:

"Later Wednesday afternoon, Williamson alluded to her comment's reference to prayer and accused critics on "the overly secularized Left" of ostracizing those who think prayer helps during natural disasters.

"I was born and raised in Texas so I've seen it," she tweeted. "Millions of people today are praying that Dorian turn away from land, and treating those people with mockery or condescension because they believe it could help is part of how the overly secularized Left has lost lots of voters."

Have you tried bending spoons with your mind?

There is no spoon, just like there are no republicans in your article calling her a fruitcake.

That's because they are donating to her campaign trying to keep her in the race.....

Tell that to Kallend who has apparently picked up the habit of posting articles that contradict the points he's trying to make.xD

Funny how the folks with the means come to America for treatment.  When my dad was being treated at the Cleveland Clinic the lobby looked like a UN get together.

Just google, "worlds best (pick your ailment) hospital" and you will see a US facility at the top of every list.

As usual, confusing health care for the average American with medical care for the very wealthy.

It's clear that you haven't figured out what my point was, but you made it for me anyway. Thanks.

What is up with the Democrats?  Their top three are, a gaff prone geriatric with blood shooting out of his eyes and two socialists.

And the leader of the Republican party is a guy with a long history of rape and sexual assault, an unprecedented level of dishonesty and the most corrupt administration since Nixon.  Given that choice, most people are going to choose the lesser of two evils.

That is the kind of thinking that got us Trump in the first place

The only point I made was how your comment about Republicans had nothing to do with the article you posted.  It was about how these disgusting bigots on the Left eat their own and lose voters.

Whhooosh.

Is that the sound of your CNN article flying over your head or the noise you make when playing with your toy pterodactyl?

I know it’s ageism, but I think I’d like to see one of the younger set, with Warren as the veep-who-is-listened-to (kind of like a not-evil Cheney). Mayor Pete is smart, but not that experienced. Personally, I like Steve Bullock; i think he brings a real ability to appeal to and work with a variety of political persuasions. We’re on a bad path financially; Warren understands finances, and Bullock will have some idea of what can actually happen. at least that’s my thought

But I haven’t done any sort of in depth study, because I’m not a political animal, and am unlikely to do anything besides vote.
