Hi folks,

Re:  DNC Hopefuls

I heard Joe Biden take a rather cheap shot at Pete B on the evening news.  Something about 'he has never governed, only been a mayor of small town.'

I think Joe's coming in 4th in Iowa is about to tank him.

And Pete could easily fire back that Biden has never served in uniform.

Pete is the only remaining veteran in the group.

Jump to 6:46 in this video and listen to him talk about TBI:

Oh, what I'd give to hear him say that in a debate with Mango Mussolini!

Trump has explained that TBI's are just headaches.  Not like the trauma Trump went through during the Vietnam War, where he lived in constant fear of the threat of STD's.

Hi Robert,

I just do not think that he is a 'cheap shot' kind of guy.

I wish him well with his efforts.

I agree, but he kinda did take a cheap shot if you watch the video -  but it's Real Time with BM, so I'll give him a pass.  There's just something about the guy that I like.  I think it was when he opposed O'Rourke about taxing Churches.

The Party of "Down with the Rich White Guy - We are all about Minorities" changes the rules to let the rich white guy in.

Members of the "Down with the Rich White Guy" party are members of the Democratic Party but that's about it.

So why do you think the left allowed B-Burg to buy his way into the election?

Because moderate republicans are more likely to vote for an old, rich white guy than a young gay one?

Is that a trick question?

Ask yourself this. Is it better to stick to your principles and lose, or to compromise and win?

The Republican Party have shown that they’re about winning at ANY cost and the Democrats will have to change to compete with that philosophy.

Personally - I stick to my principals and lose.

It seems to be the cheaters and the liars that win more often than not.

That depends on the municipality I work in though.  When I'm in Austin, the muni there is leaned WAY on the liberal side.  I lose more there than anywhere, due to contractors not paying their people and sticking me with the bill.  And the courts let them get away with it, and stick the guy with the money and the contracts with paying the additional bill.

This is why the left loses elections they expect to win.

I thought the left wanted to get rid of the elitist thinking.

Why would anybody be opposed to intellectuals forming an artistic, social or political group of people who lead the way in new developments or ideas?

They threaten the status quo and can lead to uncomfortable realizations that the world is not how they think it is.  Remember, society in general has a long history of condemning, imprisoning and outright killing heretics who propose out of touch intellectual ideas like "the Earth is round," "gays are people too," "the Earth moves through space" or "blood circulates through the lungs."

I'm just bringing attention to the "elitist" portion.  Since it is the elitists that the left rails against so vehemently.

The left rails against the extreme inequality we see in the USA today.

The right rails against science, knowledge, and intellectual achievement.

I think you're confused. It's the right, like you, that rails against the elite.

Which makes it all the more odd that they queue up to kiss Trump's feet.

I'm not confused.  I don't want Bloomberg anymore than I want Trump.

I'm much more in favor of someone like Obama - that doesn't start with a lot of wealth, and posh upbringing.

He is my Senator (I disown Cory Gardner).

I like him, but but I don't think he has the charisma for a presidential campaign.
