Both trump and Smollett are actors. Both like to live on attention, they crave it. trump is a know liar and its just speculated that Smollett is a liar.

Contrary to the title of this thread. Not a "trump hater exposed". But instead like trump, Smollett seeks to gain and deflect attention from their lying. As suggested before they both seek to gain from lying. trump usually financially. Smollett, TBD.

Why Do People Fake Hate Crimes?

The psychology is a blend of sympathy-seeking,victim-hood, hero emulation,seeking extraneous rewards,emotional dysfunction.

So trump like! Just look at all the tweeting trump does with regards to how the Mueller investigation is harming his family. Instead of modifying his behavior. He doubles down.

Just to be clear, she only thinks that because she knows that this national emergency won't bring the wall that she wants.

She already said she'd jump back onboard if he gets a real plan going for the wall.  She also thinks his puffery is charming.  That's what she likes about him.

I'm pretty sure her real motivation is pretty much the same as Trump's main motivation. She wants to stay in the public eye and keep people talking about her. She is only important if she can do that.

It never occurred to me how my post may be considered apologetic, especially the bit about Trumps charming puffery.

The point was that people shouldn't get their hopes up.  Just because she thinks Trump is an idiot, doesn't mean that her political views suddenly shifted slightly to the left.  If anything, she shifted further right into no man's land.

That's not exactly true - she's mad that he hasn't been able to follow through on his campaign promises, not that his new promises are too far right. It's impossible to be too far right for Coulter, she's basically a Nazi.

Both of these comments are spot on. I made a couple changes to Coreece's. Normally trump goes into full pitbull mode when anyone points out a failure/mistake/lie, of his. But he has never done it to Coulter. Most likely because he sees himself in her character. Plus he figures he'd like to jump her skinny bones sooner or later. Should the chance arise.

Not even that.  She's saying that he's failing to live up to the hardliner far right goals of building the wall at all cost, even if it's another shut-down or looting social security or ordering the military to the border to round up illegals and force them to build it as slave labor.  All of those things would put a smile on her broken face.
