I don't think Fairfax should resign.  You want to have a recall vote and fire him?  Fine here's the money.  You don't want him back next term?  Vote him out in the primary.

And if it's getting drunk at a party?  Probably not worth getting upset about.  If it's getting drunk and assaulting someone?  Might be a bigger deal.  If it's wearing a Madonna costume and going to a party as a "material girl?"  Not too big a deal.  If it's wearing blackface and going as a dumb black guy?  Again, might be a bigger deal.

I think the more appropriate angle on this is the timing. Everyone has opposition researchers. Why is it that information about the top three democrats in the Virginia commonwealth government is all coming out right now?  Together?  Why did nothing come out during the elections, or nomination process?  Surely someone had this information before now.

I played an inhabitant of the Barbary Coast in an elementary  school pantomime ("Dick Whittington's Cat") when I was 7.  Had cocoa for makeup on my face.

It was in response to his support of changing the approval process for late term abortions that can endanger a mother.  Someone knew it was there all along and decided to make it public.

Kavanaugh didn't do shit. All of his accusers recanted their accusations, except the one who testified, who then went into hiding with her millions out of Gofundme. Yeah, she was full of shit.
