PIA Symposium

Recommended Posts

So I was considering heading up to the PIA symposium for a day but was not sure what day.  Looking at their website, they have a list of seminar topics, but nowhere (that I can find) does it talk about what seminars are done on what days/times.  This information would be quite handy for deciding about attending!    Anyone have a schedule?

I'm not involved this year but I expect they will post it when they have it.  It is VERY hard to juggle everyone's travel schedule, try to avoid conflicts (two aad seminars against each other) etc.  And changes come in daily until next thursday.  I know some big conferences post the schedule months to a year in advance.  We've never been able to get that hard core with skydivers and manage to get it very early..

I'll be there.  Look for me at the RI/USAPR booth.  In the spirit of just messing around with parachutes, ask about Skeleton Risers™!  Sorry, I'm saving the video of rappelling from a round parachute for the August mini-Symposium, along with the no-hardware adjustable chest strap.  But in case you missed it elsewhere, this is Karl Bob having way too much fun:

Wendy et al, there's an app called "Hello Crowd," for Android and iOS. Grab the app (it's free), then search for Parachute Industry Association. You can find the seminar schedule there, as it currently stands. Hope to see you in Dallas!

Very informative and very handy! I downloaded it yesterday. Glad to see PIA is keeping up with technology.

The seminar schedule is on the website now. I like to print it out and mark it up ahead of time so I can plan my week.
