Its all about the senate. Peddle a b.s. hate message to thinly populated states and screw the populous ones. Here is a longer story along the same lines: The GOP’s 2018 Autopsy: Democracy Is Our Enemy http://nymag.com/intelligencer/2018/12/wisconsin-republican-powergrab-gop-2018-autopsy-democracy-is-our-enemy.html That and gerrymandering. trump cultists scream about fraud stealing votes. normiss 622 #3 December 4, 2018 The election crimes committed in NC should lead to severe prosecution. This is disgusting. The last decent republican just died.

BIGUN 1,051 #5 December 5, 2018 Democrats! Democrats are trying to steal an election in Florida Let's be honest here... We don't have a Democrat or Republican problem. We have a leadership problem.Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
wmw999 2,120 #6 December 5, 2018 People who have something (power, money, looks, whatever) sometimes think they deserve it because they already have it, and so they figure that whatever it takes to keep it is ok. However, when you lost fair and square, you lost. Fix the process, not the result. Sometimes that’s tough, because of that whole power thing (think gerrymandering), but that’s how you do it. We have a leadership problem. Plans foiled in GA. Republicans remain strong. billvon 2,394 #14 December 6, 2018 >Doesn't mean it doesn't happen. Yep. We go through cycles here. Democrats are found to be cheating: "It's emblematic of the Democratic party. They can't win honestly so they have to cheat! It's pathetic. Democrats have no integrity." Republicans are found to be cheating: "Well, look, both sides do it. It's not a party thing." Funny how the prominent GOP officials who have complained about supposed voting issues, such as Sen. Marco Rubio (Fla.), House Speaker Paul D. President Trump, who has made unsupported conspiracy theories and unfounded claims about fraudulent votes a hallmark of his presidency, also has said nothing about the vote fraud issue in NC.... Which is why all of a sudden comments like "both sides do it" are counter-productive. North Carolina isn't voter fraud, it is electoral fraud.. Like I said, the Republican party uses the fear of (illegal) people voting illegally to hide the electoral fraud they are committing.
kallend 1,623 #17 December 7, 2018 Apparently the folks at the center of the NC election fraud scandal live in public housing. Not that this is an issue per se, but it seems out of character for the beneficiaries of taxpayer largesse to be working to elect Republicans. I know the poorly educated form the GOP 'base' but this seems weird.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.
