exactly! That is what he said. He didn't call the Fourteenth Amendment anything like that. Do you happen to know what year Birthright citizenship became the policy of the country? Because it's was not apart of the Amendments of this country back at the time the amendment was approved.

Section 1.

All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
U only make 2 jumps: the first one for some weird reason and the last one that you lived through. The rest are just filler.

It seems to me that guy's entire point hinges on the political allegiance of a baby. Babies don't choose to ally themselves with anyone. He says;

"Critics erroneously believe that anyone present in the United States has “subjected” himself “to the jurisdiction” of the United States, which would extend citizenship to the children of tourists, diplomats, and illegal aliens alike."

Whereas it appears that he erroneously believes that anyone born of foreign parents has "subjected" himself "to the jurisdiction" of that foreign state. If the parents don't choose to make the baby a citizen of a foreign state it won't ever owe allegiance to or be subject to that state.

He even references the Wong Kim Ark case saying it only holds that permanent residents qualify - but that still counteracts his argument, since permanent residents are still citizens of somewhere else.

Finally, it is hilarious that Trump, the public face of the Birther movement, is now standing up in public and stating that it is insane to think that citizenship can be governed by place of birth:D

Bill, you don't have to post something to try and make me believe that's what you believe. I know you do! But sadly for you the intent of the Fourteenth Amendment is quite clear if you do a little research. Which you are either unable or too lazy to do.

This, like trump's statement is not believed, or accepted by the propagators of the lies Its merely pablum to be spoon-fed to the masses, the other cult members.So they can all cheer, bob their heads, shuckling, so to speak.

To show their worship, their acceptance of the image of trump.His message that only we count, we matter.

The preponderant legal opinion in the past (as stated by a US foreign service consular officer I know) is that it’s diplomatic immunity that defines “subject to foreign powers.” Undocumented aliens are subject to US law; at least we do put them into jail here when they break it, which we don’t do to people holding diplomatic immunity.

Since diplomatic immunity is defined by a foreign treaty we signed (that pesky Geneva Convention), you may not accept it, but it’s legal minds that have to decide. Now the concept was only informal at the time of the 14th Amendment, but it still existed.

That our birthright laws are liberal is undeniable. Maybe too much so. But thats a statute at least, not a fiat.

I don't like HRC and didn't vote for her (and wouldn't today).

She pulled every trick in the book to secure the nomination, both in 08 and 12.

Do the people who hate her think that she wouldn't have been all over this if it had had any merit?
