...why the F can't you guys hold an election without controversy?

65 of 67 counties in Florida can hold legal elections. Two counties, that are majority Democrat by the way, can't. because they feel the need to find votes to overturn the electorate of Florida.

now I look forward to Bill Vaughn and others here calling me names, such as Neo-Nazi suppoter and others to try and silence me. That's what they do.

Wait until all the military ballots are counted, as they’re legally still valid to come in until November 16, three days from now.
Why doesn't EVERY vote count to some people?

"Ohhh! We like the numbers where they are now! STOP COUNTING!!!"

Thank you, Florida. Most states don't have that silliness:

If your absentee ballot is mailed to you, you must return it to the county election board by mail. An absentee ballot must be received by the county election board before 7 p.m. on election day to be counted.

What's so hard about that?

Party affiliation among voters: 1992-2016

Interesting reading. I think the millenials have got it right.

Nevermind the age and gender differences, what do you think it say about the situation that so few non-whites identify as Republican? Do you think they are mostly less conservative, or is there some other reason?

In FL, it's required to be post marked by that date.

The part I have problems with is the signature comparison and rejection of ballots. That's nonsense.
The biggest complainers about the process? Republicans.
How long have they been in control of writing these laws????
;)
Gov. Scott doesn't like fraud???? That's a billion dollar laugh right there.

I agree that is ridiculous. I was signing for a loan at my credit union a few months ago and the loan officer that knows me personally watched me sign the paperwork. Then she looked at my license and says the signature doesn't quite match. [:/]

I registered to vote several decades ago my signature is probably a bit different now than it is on my voter registration application.

Signatures are just security theater.
Ludicrous that anyone would try to take it seriously.
This sums it up for credit cards:

Especially stupid since Canadian birth rate has been below the replacement level (2.1) for 40 years: https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/pub/11-630-x/11-630-x2014002-eng.htm

I read it was a guy in the swamp that caught a 19 foot Python and found the missing ballot boxes from Miami-Dade county.

It's been going on for a couple of hundred years here in the US. It re-escalated in the 90's as a result of Clinton's Welfare Reform led by the Republicans (the sterilization) who were figuring out other ways to reduce the "Welfare Queens." If memory serves; there was one case of a lady with 7 or 9 children that had been sterilized against her will. She went in for one procedure and they just added another (as long as she was unconscious). It made national news and resulted in some changes directed by Judges - must have letter of consent, must have 72 hour waiting period, etc. I "think" it still goes on in US Prisons today.

The lady with the 7 or 9 kids did not help her case much when she told the press I have to keep trying until I give my husband a son or he'll leave me:S:S

The whole situation has and always will be goofy IMO. You know, all politics and affiliations aside; I sometimes wonder how someone gets a "good idea" like this in their head, but even more importantly; turns around and tells someone else who then thinks that it too is a good idea - instead of just slapping the shit out of him and saying, "Shut up. You're a fucking idiot."

I knew that it had happened in the past, there's a hospital here in Virginia that up into the 70's was sterilizing women who were thought to be too promiscuous. I can't imagine the motivation for any healthcare professional in modern times (post 1990), regardless or hospital policy, to actually commit such a horrendous act.
