Come on dude. MSM is pretty much against anything Trump does. They're following an anti-Trump agenda. Hardly any of them ever report the news fairly. CNN is a dumpster fire.

It's obvious you don't watch CNN. On the contrary, on all the shows last night and this morning, the hosts were stating that Trump definitely has chosen a different path to getting Kim to the table, and gotten further with the dictator than any previous administration (read: they're admitting that Trump did a good thing here). They still agree that Trump got nothing substantial out of it while Kim got legitimacy and some exercises canceled. But, they also reported that they hope the president's faith in the progress and process will yield some positive outcomes. They will wait to see what Kim actually does to follow up these promises/claims before passing judgement on the whole endeavor.

That is, like, way too nuanced. HAIL TRUMP.

Remember when the libtards said Trump was gonna lead us to WWIII or a nuclear war last year? Even as early as this January and February? Doesn't look like its gonna happen now.

Trump has not faced a crisis yet. There are plenty of people on both the left and the right with serious concerns about how he would perform if faced with one. Given what his personality traits have been shown to be, with good reason.

Not true, he just hasn't solved a crisis yet. The entirety of Puerto Rico can attest to how he handles a crisis involving US citizens.

That scene with him throwing the paper towels, I'm not sure he understood what was going on there, as if the reporters had gathered to get the supplies or he thought that using paper towels is literally how you clean up a hurricane.

This is exactly the kind of situation in which a President needs to step up and make it happen but because it was Puerto Rico nobody really gave a shit.

Trump reveals one of his reasons for meeting with Kim:

"He speaks and his people sit up at attention. I want my people to do the same."

So he wants the US to be more like North Korea. And who better to learn from than Kim?

That was said tongue in cheek. Of course, in North Korea, if you don't sit up at attention, you get strapped to an anti-aircraft gun and get blown to smithereens, or attacked by a pack of dogs. If you think Trump is going to threaten anything similar, I'm gonna laugh.

Two things. Yes, tongue in cheek. The other thing, Trump gives off the impression that he wishes he could make it so. He is in the habit of abusing his power. We don't know where he would stop.

I get a kick out of how all the Trump apologists fall all over themselves to say "well, this is what he REALLY meant" right after he drops another turd.

It used to matter when a POTUS spoke. But not now. Now it's just a the utterances of a bratty child-man with too much power and no sense.

Considering how upset those same people were about:

It is rather laughable.

You actually believe that, don't you.

He told the crowd to beat up a heckler. He even said he would pay for the attacker's attorney.

He told HRC that he would put her in jail.

He called Nazi's "Fine People".

When are the Trumpettes going to admit that he actually means this stuff. He can't pull it off (fortunately), but he certainly wants to.

And he's praised how tough and smart Putin is. He phoned Duterte (apropos nothing) to congratulate him on the incredible job he was doing on the drug problem - with the extradjudicial killing of thousands of suspects - and invited him to the White House. He's now even on the love train with Kim.

When are the Trumpettes going to realise that Trump likes dictatorships, he likes totalitarianism, and he likes the idea of an executive that is not constrained by or subject to the rule of law.

Strongmen Trump admires:

Kim Jong Un
Rodrigo Duerte
Xi Jinping
Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi
Recep Erdogan
Vladimir Putin

Leaders Trump dislikes:

Justin Trudeau
Angela Merkel
Malcolm Turnbull
Francois Hollande
Enrique Pena Nieto

-Like trump hecklers shouldn't get beat up? That trump would pay the legal fees of supporters that assaulted hecklers?

Y'all are triggered.

Triggered? Is that what you call it when you resort to vulgarity and people answer back? At least you are slightly more clever than Marc. Even though you both keep claiming how "hilarious" you feel we are as you express your anger.

Remember the Cuban missile crisis? The "libtard" JFK handled that without starting a war. I'm doubting Trump could.

Remember when the libtards said Trump was gonna lead us to WWIII or a nuclear war last year? Even as early as this January and February? Doesn't look like its gonna happen now.

"Donald Trump has declared that North Korea still poses an “extraordinary threat” to the United States, just days after saying that the country’s nuclear program no longer constituted a danger.

In an executive order on Friday, the president extended for one year the so-called “national emergency” with respect to the nuclear-armed nation, re-authorizing economic restrictions against it.

While expected, the declaration comes just nine days after Trump tweeted: “There is no longer a Nuclear Threat from North Korea,” following his summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in Singapore"

No, I don't remember anyone saying that. Do you have a quote? What people did say, and are still saying is that the dotard is very impulsive and unpredictable. And that there are serious doubts about how well he would preform in a crisis situation. So far all of the problems he has had to face have been mere political ones of his own making. But there is nothing in how he has handled them that should give anyone any confidence in his abilities.

But hey, congratulations to you. Your glorious leader has managed to not bring your country to disaster in his first 18 months of power. MAGA!

Amazing.

Trump claimed at a cabinet meeting Thursday that denuclearization had already begun, although his defense secretary, James Mattis, told reporters a day earlier that he wasn’t aware that North Korea had taken any steps yet toward denuclearization, and that detailed negotiations have not yet begun.

How does anyone take this guy seriously?

>How does anyone take this guy seriously?

By ignoring any reality-based news.

Trump extended the emergency based on "the existence and risk of proliferation of weapons-usable fissile material on the Korean Peninsula and the actions and policies of the Government of North Korea." These "continue to pose an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security, foreign policy, and economy of the United States."

North Korea making ‘rapid’ improvements to nuclear reactor despite Trump-Kim agreement

Sam Meredith
CNBC.com

North Korea is upgrading its only known nuclear research facility, satellite imagery has shown, despite ongoing negotiations with multiple world leaders and a pledge to abandon its weapons program.

The satellite photos, obtained by North Korea analysis outlet 38 North, indicate that the isolated regime is making numerous improvements to its Yongbyon Nuclear Scientific Research Center “at a rapid pace.”

The report comes just over two weeks after President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un signed an agreement that called for a denuclearized Korean peninsula.

38 North is a U.S.-based project that looks to gather the insight of several long-time observers of North Korea. The site, which is perhaps best known for its monitoring of Pyongyang’s nuclear weapons program, is affiliated with experts at both the Stimson Center and non-profit Foreign Policy Research Institute.

Hey nolhtairt, what would you think if Trump continued to deny that NK has continued it's nuke program?

Remember that 1/4 of the US population has an IQ below 89, which by coincidence is the size of Trump's base (according to the Washington Examiner).

So it seems that N. Korea continues its nuclear program at full speed, while KJU got Trump to cancel military exercises with S. Korea.

All this winning is getting to be most tiresome.

No response. Let's draw the line before the fact this time. Sure, he may actually come back with a strong move but on that off chance that he tries to downplay that NK is continuing with their program. What would you think about a US politician doing that?
