There, I gave you a point to ease your feelings......

Good, it makes up for the rep point normiss gave to me last night in the firearm thread and then took it back like an Indian giver.:P (btw, can we still use that term today?)

Not quite. QAnons are the unknown posters on the QMap. As such, they can be anyone. Q is the source and has a unique identifier.

I am waiting for specific Q drops.

I really don't know much about all this Q stuff, but this sex scandal kind of piqued my interest.

So from what I'm hearing, these QAnons on this QMap should probably be taken with a grain of salt, correct?

And this Q source - are there avenues by which one can verify some of the claims?  Because honestly, I don't think I have much more room for faith in my life beyond that of Christianity, and even that has been somewhat strained as of late.

Also, I just wanted to say that your perspective and courage to post it here is much appreciated.

Yes and yes, I believe so.  And while I'm not particularly fond of the whole guilt by association thing, these two leaders' sexual appetites and history of scandal really fucking creeps me out.

. . .and I don't want to get too far ahead of ourselves, but damn, if they were involved somehow, how satisfying would it be for lady justice to finally serve up those two juicy fuckers on a fat platter?

Maybe then this country could finally find some common ground and wake up from this nightmare. . .

I wonder how far prosecutorial immunity goes. They broke the law, and in effect entered into a criminal conspiracy with a known serial paedophile to protect him from justice and actively enable him to (most likely) continue raping and pimping a huge number of children.

In a normal administration, someone who made a shady secret deal to let a known pedophile escape federal charges for sex trafficking of minors would be fired and disavowed.

In the Trump administration, he was rewarded with the position of labor secretary.

No surprise, coming from someone who brags about grabbing women by the pussy, and who's been accused of sexual assault at least 17 times.

A question and answer from Jeffery Epstein, pedophile and criminal -

Q. Have you ever socialized with Donald Trump in the presence of females under the age of 18?
A: Though I'd like to answer that question, at least today I'm going to have to assert my Fifth, Sixth, and 14th Amendment rights, sir.

It will be interesting if that changes as Epstein searches for anything he can cooperate on that might get him out of decades of prison time.

Justice is coming.

Aren't prosecutors also seeking to take his properties?

I always wondered what the hell was wrong with people that periodically pop into a particular forum just to take a jab at someone.  That's really big of you dude, like a bully trying to impress his friends.

. . .and of course normiss would hypocritically give the guy a rep point for that garbage.

How do you know he's not reading it obsessively and just not posting?  Do they have to post a lot of other things to "qualify" for the right to make a comment?

Edited to add: I'm not speaking for him, but personally I don't bother a lot with SC because I find the politics discussions more interesting elsewhere on the Internet, but I'll make fun of people saying crazy things wherever because... well, they're crazy.   If I had to comment regularly to earn the right to make fun of people saying things that are "pants on head" nuts, then I guess I'd pass altogether.

While unconventional, I understood what he was saying, so maybe that makes me crazy.

I see some interesting predictions about things they've been talking about for years - and I'm going to enjoy the show like he said.

Justice is coming.

Yes, very close to the Clintons. President Trump banned Epstein for life from Mar-a-Lago back in the '80s, I believe, for assaulting a fourteen-year-old girl.

Your comments just get lamer and lamer. You seem to live in an alternate reality from normal people - one where Trump's lies become truth and his despicable behavior becomes praiseworthy.

He's parroting baseless predictions from an imaginary leaker within the intelligence agencies who claims to be leading a group of true patriots against the 'deep state' govenrment takeover by hardline democrat child sex traffickers. It's the most well known, ludicrous and absurd conspiracy theory of the past few years.

Just because you aren't aware that it's batshit crazy doesn't mean it's any less batshit crazy. And it is batshit crazy. Like, genuinely beyond insane.

Well, I hope so, but I won't hold my breath on it - from a leaked copy of the Johnson v. Epstein complaint, Trump is deeply implicated.   But who knows, really.  That case never progressed.

So...  Yeah.  Let's see...    I really do hope justice is coming.

Nah, but I don't doubt that I've given that impression lately, especially after my little adolescent tantrum several days ago in the Salute thread.

The strain has primarily been with my relationship to other Christians within my family and among my friends.  I'm not really going to go into the details here,  but it seems that ever since Trump was elected, our time together has been hostile, negatively political and exceedingly lame every time we get together.  It's unbearable, and I just don't get it.  I've had some of the best times of my life with these people over the last 10 years and it's like that joy that we'd experience on a daily basis has just been suddenly ripped away and they don't even seem to recognize it - it just fucking sucks and I'm very resentful about it all.

. . .and ya, I know -  I'm probably not dealing with it the right way either.

Anyway, whatever, sorry for the distraction, carry on. . .

Be strong in the Lord. Satan's job is to steal, kill, and destroy. The breakdown of families is paramount in his goal.

There are Christians out there who don't conflate politics with Christ. They might not be in your family, but family is important, too -- find directed activities to do with family that don't really allow for too much BS talking, like games night, or movies, etc.

Then you can join in fellowship with others, and not feel bad about your family, or feeling like they think  you're not 'doing Christianity "right".'

Or maybe that's not what's happening at all -- I'm 1000+ miles away and have no real insight. Just a thought. But if you take the social lead, then you're the one designing how it works.

I think you’ll find behind the public ‘show’ most politicians are friends and it is a fairly tight knit community. Let’s face it, spend 5+ years in the same work place with significant interaction friendships form.

Is it possible, that as other groups have since Trumps election, they're feeling a bit more free to be their true selves? Watching others react to life is how you get to know them, right?

From the NYT, a description of how close two predators were:

====================

Jeffrey Epstein Was a ‘Terrific Guy,’ Donald Trump Once Said. Now He’s ‘Not a Fan.’

By Annie Karni and Maggie Haberman

July 9, 2019

WASHINGTON — It was supposed to be an exclusive party at Mar-a-Lago, Donald J. Trump’s members-only club in Palm Beach, Fla. But other than the two dozen or so women flown in to provide the entertainment, the only guests were Mr. Trump and Jeffrey Epstein.

The year was 1992 and the event was a “calendar girl” competition, something that George Houraney, a Florida-based businessman who ran American Dream Enterprise, had organized at Mr. Trump’s request.

“I arranged to have some contestants fly in,” Mr. Houraney recalled in an interview on Monday. “At the very first party, I said, ‘Who’s coming tonight? I have 28 girls coming.’ It was him and Epstein.”

Mr. Houraney, who had just partnered with Mr. Trump to host events at his casinos, said he was surprised. “I said, ‘Donald, this is supposed to be a party with V.I.P.s. You’re telling me it’s you and Epstein?’”

In fact, that was the case, an indication of a years-long friendship between the president and Mr. Epstein that some say ended only after a failed business arrangement between them. The full nature of their eventual falling out is not clear.

But through a mutual appreciation of wealth and women, and years of occupying adjacent real estate in Palm Beach and on Page Six, the lives of the two men routinely intersected for decades — until the connection turned from a status symbol into a liability, and Mr. Trump made sure to publicize the fact that he had barred his onetime friend from his clubs.

“In those days, if you didn’t know Trump and you didn’t know Epstein, you were a nobody,” said Alan Dershowitz, the longtime Harvard University Law School professor who later served on Mr. Epstein’s defense team when he was charged with unlawful sex with minors in 2006.

Before Mr. Epstein pleaded guilty to the charges, and was mainly known as a reclusive, sweat-shirt-sporting billionaire who liked the company of young women, Mr. Trump spoke enthusiastically about their relationship.

“I’ve known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy,” Mr. Trump told New York magazine in 2002. “He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.”

He also dismissed Mr. Houraney’s warning about his friend’s conduct.

“I said, ‘Look, Donald, I know Jeff really well, I can’t have him going after younger girls,’” Mr. Houraney remembers. “He said, ‘Look I’m putting my name on this. I wouldn’t put my name on it and have a scandal.’”

==================

Fortunately, he was able to grab women by the pussy and have them not say anything because he was famous - thus allowing to bury any scandal that might have resulted.

Judge won't toss Rep. Duncan Hunter's corruption case

Associated Press

Jul 9 2019

SAN DIEGO – A judge Monday refused to dismiss federal corruption charges against U.S. Rep. Duncan Hunter or move the trial out of San Diego, saying he found no evidence so far that the California Republican lawmaker cannot get a fair trial here.

U.S. District Judge Thomas Whelan in ruling from the bench said Hunter -- a staunch supporter of President Donald Trump -- easily won re-election to a sixth term in 2018 after being indicted and therefore he should be able to be tried fairly in San Diego County.

Defense lawyers argued prosecutors were politically motivated when they indicted the 42-year-old congressman only months before the 2018 election and the case should be dismissed. Whelan said he found no evidence of that.

Hunter and his wife were indicted in August on charges they used more than $250,000 in campaign funds for personal expenses ranging from groceries to golf trips and family vacations, and then lied about it in federal filings. Margaret Hunter pleaded guilty last month to one corruption count and agreed to cooperate with investigators and could end up testifying against her husband.

Prosecutors have also revealed salacious details about the congressman's lifestyle, saying he spent campaign money on a string of extramarital affairs with lobbyists and congressional aides.

========================================

Now THAT is a deplorable.
