JerryBaumchen 1,047 #1 December 14, 2017 Hi folks, Bruce Brown, the filmmaker has died. https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2017/12/13/570437097/remembering-bruce-brown-whose-search-for-the-perfect-break-redefined-surfing I saw The Endless Summer in 1966 in the auditorium of a local high school. I was completely taken by the film. I recently watched it again; something about 'you can never go home again' came to mind. Jerry Baumchen ETA: I am thinking I actually saw it the summer of '65, before he could get into theaters; why I saw it in the school auditorium.
