GoPro Session

Anybody using a Session for handcam? If so, what were you using prior and why the change? Plus and minuses please, Thanks

Was using a GoPro 4 silver, started locking up on me. I had the extended warranty on it so I exchanged it for 2 sessions.

Plus column:
Battery life - have done 14 videos and still a half full battery
FOV - *seems wider than the 4, didn't do any actual comparisons though

Negative column:
Lense protection - none unless you add an aftermarket filter or such

Only issue I've had is after pressing record it would freeze a couple seconds into it...tracked it down to a faulty memory card.

Session lenses are easily replaceable.
No other protection is required.

Battery life is exceptional. Nothing else comes close.

Which model session are you all using, and what handcam glove do you use? pros and cons?

Using the Session 5, and I have the 2 session tower if the DZ doesn't have an app for creating photos. And the single session for places that do.
Really is nice to fly with the single session as it is a zero snag item...
