REQ: how to attach a Cookie mount for FlySight to Bonehead AERO?

Recommended Posts

Hello!

What's the best way to attach a Cookie mount for FlySight to Bonehead AERO?

Under consideration:

* Drilling holes + adding screws
* Find a strong adhesive (similar to GoPro mount's)

Thanks in advance and blue skies!

3M or similar double sided tape is plenty strong for mounting a flysight bracket. I 3D print plastic mounts for flysights and they all get stuck on by double sided tape onto the helmet.

OldGregg

Drop the flysight into either the wing or tail inlet before exit.

This makes it a real pain to route headphones if you are doing more than just recording. it is also needs to be on the helmet for ppc comps.

Howdy.

We consulted with Bonehead -- their recommendation was to drill the helmet and use the screws. Great fit, and the FlySight is in a great spot, facing the sky above during my tracks.

I now have Cookie mounts on both my speed and my comfy helmets (AERO and Black Mamba), tried them yesterday, worked great.

Thanks and cheers!
