Sabrekakkonen 0 #1 June 19, 2018 Hi, i am considering to buy aerodyne mamba 132. I would load it at 1.35 lb/ft Is it too low wingloading for this canopy, could it be safety issue?
Sobakin 1 #2 June 19, 2018 Yes, it's too low wingload for Mamba. Low wingload means low speed and low air pressure inside canopy, leading to low stability in turbulence, canopy will not fly as designed. Why Mamba, and, for example, not a Pilot - good canopy for such wingload? I see no any sense flying HP elliptical canopies underloaded.
