Which reserve pilot chute location do you prefer, and (for posting) why?

Feel free to list all reasons (e.g. speed of RPC launch, chances of RPC hesitating or not launching at all, appearance, etc.).

Quite likely the votes in your poll will be based on overall rig preference rather than PC placement. PC placement is at best a secondary consideration of which rig to buy.

And in each category their are rigs I own or would own and rigs I wouldn't own. So I actually have no answer for you. Other considerations or PC along with the rest of the rig makes the decision.

Yeah, I should have specified that the question is standalone and not to be taken into consideration with anything else. There are also other considerations within strictly the reserve system itself, such as reserve container design and RPC spring type (conical, cylindrical, etc.)

For me, it's a primary requirement (if I were to be shopping for a new rig now). But that's because I do lots of CRW, and I don't want any chance of stray lines getting stuck behind my reserve pilotchute during a wrap or something. For the generic jumper, it won't matter much above personal preference (I know some that like to have it external, using the "less stuff in between the pilot chute and clean air" argument).
