Monosa 0 #1 January 6, 2018 Hi, I found this picture ( http://c8.alamy.com/comp/J6EN0G/the-low-profile-parachute-is-configured-for-use-in-ac-130-gunships-J6EN0G.jpg ) on this site ( http://www.alamy.com/stock-photo-the-low-profile-parachute-is-configured-for-use-in-ac-130-gunships-141694688.html ) showing a new low-profile parachute system used by the U.S. Air Force to replace an old system called BA-22. It has a Cypres AAD. I am little curious: What are the functions of the black hose and the green / red handle? It looks like that the red handle is connected to a yellow cutaway cable which is also visible on both capewell release system assemblies (200% zoomed in). The green handle could be also connected to the release system. So both handles need to be pulled to cut the only canopy away (prevent an accidentially cutaway)?
